Panjim Promenade — Local services in Goa

A trip to Goa has to include Donna Paula. For me It has been a while thought, but the place does seem to hav its taste of Goan heritage and beauty. Weekends and holidays are generally busy days and the toursits are in plentiful. The walk down the promenade is just lovely and the sed just seems so peaceful. Lots of little stalls sell all sorts of local goodies. The view from the hill is mesmerizing and the two whitewashed statues perched on the rocks keep you company. There are different versions to the purpose and origin of the figures. Well, the city is evolving and how ! It’s a beautiful place with a beautiful view, and now we have a beautiful promenade which is fantastic.. I remember a few years back we didn’t have this and wed have to go behind campal indoor stadium to enjoy the sunset view and honestly it was not that easy.. but now there’s a whole new way with nice seatings and broad lane to walk on and enjoy the sunset with family and friends..to go on a jog with your doggos, to simply walk with your headphones on.. yes, that’s fun! Excellent promenade along the mandovi river, starts from panjim till almost miramar beach. Great for morning runs / walks, when the crowd is less, offers excellent view of the mandovi river which can been seen merging with the arabian sea. You can pick a place along the promenade to have a yoga session. The promenade is extremely well maintained, with greenery one side and clean river water on the other side. The sound of waves hitting the tiny rocks, well, its a therapy in itself. A must visit for...
