Qmin is a cafe at Ginger Hotel at Patto, Panjim. It is a fantastic place for friends, family and colleagues to catch up, but as someone who often works on the move, I found it absolutely perfect for digital nomads and remote workers.
Their casual, open plan design is bright and welcoming and their menu focuses on curating cuisine from around the world at extremely pocket friendly prices. From filter coffee and chai to shakes, bubble tea, juices and beer, to food ranging from sandwiches, paranthas, chaat, ros omelette hot dogs, onion rings and tons of snacky options, it’s perfect for grabbing a quick bite and catching up on your emails. Need to work all day? The menu at Qmin also has small meal combos like Veg Xacuti/ Caldin / fish curry / chicken cafreal and other Goan food to enjoy with rice or poee. They also have pasta, biryanis, oriental options, as well as butter chicken / mutton korma and more to enjoy with rice and roti. Food wise, the taste of many dishes can definitely be improved upon
There’s a fridge with chilled beverages, a ‘grab and go’ counter with chocolate and nuts… But what’s even better is that you can have team meetings here, work in a private little cubicle of sorts, keep your kids in the play area, watch the news / sports on the TVs places around and even use the gym - all for free, as long as you order something off the menu. Have an important work call to attend to? They’ll even lower the music upon request.
I can totally picture myself working out of here every day.

The spices used were just right, and every bite of the biryani was a delight to the senses. The raita served alongside the biryani was also good, but there was way too much of it. Unfortunately, the chicken cutlet pao wasn't up to my liking, as I didn't find the taste to be very appealing. Despite this, I would still recommend this restaurant for its beautiful ambiance and great veg biryani, which is definitely...
Read moreAmbience wise quite lovely but the food was not upto the mark. Service was slow as well. The Vegetable Biriyani was decent. Taste was fine, the rice was cooked perfectly. The Chicken Cutlet Pav was pathetic on the other hand, it was mostly potato cutlet inside. Even a average street food makes much...
