Royal Foods — Restaurant in Goa

Heard good reviews about their cakes and hence decided to get a cake from there for my dad's birthday. Personally I choose the cake named: Black & White priced at ₹ 600.

From the display counter it was shifted to the name deco section besides, where I went and told the message that is to be written. I.e. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADA. I even told them specially not to put a happy birthday plastic tag rather hand write it. And after I saw it done I paid for it. The girl at the name deco section asked me to wait as she was busy packing some other orders and since my bike was on the road itself and may get picked by the municipal council I asked her to please be quick. To which she responded, "Maam, you can wait at the door I'll get the cake there."

In about 5 mins I was handed my cake and I left. The same evening when I removed the cake from the box to be cut I had a shock. The cake was a whole different one. The picture has been attached. I am definitely going to the shop tomorrow to get a full refund and they can have their cake.

I would not recomend people to buy anything at all from Royal foods Margao coz it was good before, now the quality & hygiene is compromised.

1st issue - Had purchased 3 packs of Chicken Pepper Lime Cocktails & A single packet of Chicken Cheese Cocktail from them, had ordered from Swiggy, all expired. Manufactured date given was 29/9/2020 & said use before 3 months. How can they keep such stuff?? Are'nt they aware of the product they are selling??? Are'nt they aware about the expiry dates?? This is playing with our health.

2nd issue- Went there personally to purchase Pastries, one fell down by mistake & the staff there just picked it up & kept it in the cooler instead of disposing it. Plus were flies inside the cooling shelf.

3rd issue - Saw all the meat products, cleaned, cut & kept in ice water, who keeps meat in...

I usually most of the time use Gpay and hardly carry cash, so on my day off I happen to go to this royal fast food at margao coz I had some work in margao so I happen to buy chicken and eggs but since j didn't carry my phone I had cash on me as my mum had given the cash to buy the eggs and chicken just coz I didn't have change the guy at the cash counter said he will give me only 21 eggs and I was like why don't you'll keep change he replied saying we don't have any change please get or carry change it was something at around 12 noon. And they don't have change is it the customer fault is this the service and the way the employees are been trained. Very unprofessional and unhappy with the service.
