Amul Parlour — Restaurant in Gujarat

I recently visited an Amul Parlour and my experience was extremely disappointing. To begin with, the parlour does not even have a proper signboard. For a brand as reputed as Amul, this is shocking. Customers expect clear identification of the store, but without a visible board, it looks like just another random shop. This creates confusion and reduces the credibility of the outlet.

What frustrated me even more was the unavailability of one of Amul’s most basic and popular products – chhas (buttermilk). For decades, Amul has been known for providing fresh dairy products, and chhas is considered an essential daily item, especially in a place like Gujarat where people rely on it regularly. To walk into an official Amul Parlour and not find such a staple product feels like complete mismanagement. If an Amul Parlour cannot maintain the stock of its core items, it defeats the entire purpose of having such outlets.

The shop also lacked proper presentation and organization. Without branding, without the standard products, and without customer focus, this place fails to meet even the minimum expectations from an Amul Parlour.
