1)The Ambience.. CCD's quality has definitely deteriorated over the years. This particular venue is in shambles. If you go in afternoon time than there would be no lights and zero air conditioning even on a hot summer day. You would literally struggle to read the menu bcz of bad lighting. May be they have decided that this will be an environment friendly outlet and we will use electricity in a least possible manner!! Staff would also pay no heed to you as a customer. I remember when it becomes really dark to see at around 7 pm. They finally turn the lights on. Still, there will be a full economy for AC. Even if you complain that we are not feeling comfortable and need AC.. They will make funny face and tell you to move and sit close to an AC which is turned on (or may be the only AC which is working in order).
3)Lastly the coffee... Really surprising to have this bad experience... When i tried to order some coffee.. I was told.. Sorry we don't serve that.. It happened for 3 different coffees. When i finally got the cold coffee.. There were paper tissues floating in the coffee. So after spending around Rs. 2000 basically u still need to be watchful for any waste that is floating around in ur stuff.
There were rumours that CCD will go bankrupt in a near future. Looking at the experience we are getting... This should happen sooner rather than later.
I would better off drinking Rs. 20 coffe two times from a chaiwala than go into this mess and waste my 2k and get out uttering "what the...

I used to be a CCD lover. I’ve spent hours in their cafes, sipping coffee, working, relaxing. I’ve tried many CCDs across cities, especially in Ahmedabad, and always felt at home. But this recent visit was the worst experience ever, and I feel people should be aware.
We ordered Caramel Frappe, Crunchy Frappe, Cold Coffee, and Iced Mocha—and all of them were horrible in taste. • No Oreo taste in the Crunchy Frappe. • Iced Mocha tasted like cold water—zero coffee flavor. • Even the Caramel Frappe was totally diluted and bland.
When we raised a complaint to the head staff, Shobha, her response was shocking. She literally said:
“Nothing can be done. Drink or leave.”
They refused to cancel, refused to exchange, and even refused to talk when we politely asked to speak further. The AC wasn’t working, the ambience was uncomfortable, and we paid over ₹1000 for drinks that were undrinkable.
My honest advice:
Boycott CCD. Don’t waste your money or your time. Ahmedabad has so many amazing cafes with far better service, ambience, and value.
CCD, if you don’t fix this, you’ll keep losing the loyal community that...
Read moreRidiculous service, they serve expired food now... On asking to change they were initially not ready then considered changing the coffe which took around 30 mins... Till then the store manager was not present, later when he came he asked the others to get the coffee out of trash so he could check(by tasting) if it was genuinely bad as he was sure of the expiry date wriiten on the whipped cream bottle(which was a date written by hand which was to be expiring the next day). What worse service can one think of... I was asked to write a complain which i kno nothing is going to happen. Have added the copy of complain...
