In the heart of the city but very noisy.

One of the oldest and if not the oldest havmor outlets in the city. I remember my parents talking about this many years ago.

Obviously it has gone through many changes since then.

This is one of the few outlets where you will get South Indian food like dosa, idli, uttapam etc.

I generally eat their chana puri or jumbo grilled sandwich. This time decided to try their falafel jumbo grilled sandwich. It was great in taste and flavours however lack of hummus or tahini dip was the only flaw.

They took about 20 minutes to prepare the sandwich. So i doubt if it can be called fast food.

Since this outlet is on the relief Road it is very noisy even at night with relatively low traffic. Noise levels are enhanced by loud fans and inaudible music which makes little sense on a place which is not fully enclosed. It does provide a view to a busy road but thats really it as far as Ambience is concerned.

This place does not have ac nor does it take card payments.

Being the most favourite restaurant from my childhood I am giving this 4 stars.However currently the condition is not so good.I recently visited it and the AC was shut off,they kept the doors open.I think the 1st floor is not in working condition.We ordered one paneer sandwich which tasted like they have prepared it by toasting bread with paneer sabji as stuffing.The ice cream was good enough as per their quality.

I am not sure what’s the issue,it could be that due to other so many outlets across the city people don’t visit this one so apparently it doesn’t get sufficient revenue.

I would really be looking forward to this working as it used to be in my childhood almost...

I have ordered: Chana Puri

It was a huge round shaped Puri which was deep fried in oil. And Chana bowl with the Puri was served.

Puri was very much oily I would say. One should not eat this much oily in their life again if they are thinking about themselves!

I think Puri must be less oily! Quantity was less in terms of price as well.

Also, Puri has some black things on it and I think it was due to the used same oil many times for frying these Puris! Atleast, they should use some good oil to fry these Puri!

I don't know why but Onion given in plate had no taste at all!

I would not eat this much...
