Unpleasant Experience - Misleading Information and Poor Service

I recently booked a stay at this hotel through Agoda, and unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory. Before confirming the reservation, I called the hotel to inquire about an early check-in, as I was scheduled to arrive in Ahmedabad at 8:30 AM, and Agoda displayed a check-in time of 12 PM.

The hotel staff assured me of a 24-hour check-in and confirmed that an early check-in was possible. However, upon completing the booking, I received a call from the hotel stating that early check-in was not allowed, despite vacant rooms, and I would have to pay an additional 500 INR for just a two-hour early arrival.

Following their suggestion, I submitted a cancellation request on Agoda, even though the reservation was labeled as 100% non-refundable. I was told that Agoda would contact the hotel to assess the possibility of cancellation, with the assurance of a full refund if the hotel agreed. Regrettably, my cancellation request was declined, despite the hotel staff confirming they had not received any call from Agoda.

Furthermore, the manager's behavior during this ordeal was rude and uncooperative. Additionally, the room had broken plugs, indicating a lack of maintenance and attention to guest comfort.

Arrived too early for my booking, so I requested an extra night so that I could get a room instead of waiting in the lobby for check-in time, the receptionist there, Shivam Awasthi, repeatedly said "what time is it?... Check in time is 12", being a complete prick, as if I was asking for a favour. He then continued with the attitude and got a room for me. And then middle of the night, 24 hours later, 4 AM in the morning, he calls saying " What are you doing? It's your check-out time". I sent an email to the booking site I used to book the room, and they called the hotel, and he then told them that the hotel has a 24 hour check-in-to-check-out policy, which is a lie. So now I'm writing a review as I sit and wait for the manager to wake up, just to warn everyone coming to Ahmedabad (and yes, you may arrive this time if you take a night bus or train), do not show up in this hotel at night, because this guy, Mr Shivam Awasthi, will get you out the room middle...
