I recently visited this La Pino’z outlet and was shocked by the unprofessional behavior of one of the staff members. We ordered food and drinks, and while collecting the cold drink (as it’s self-service), I noticed it wasn’t cold enough. I politely asked the lady at the counter if it could be changed, and she agreed with a smile — which I truly appreciated.
However, suddenly a man in a white shirt, who seemed to be in charge at the counter, rudely shouted at us saying, “Self service hai, jaake waha se change karo, don’t give it to her.” I calmly replied that it’s just a drink change — what’s the big deal? His aggressive tone was completely uncalled for.
Later, while picking up my food, I tried to explain there was no need for such behavior, to which he again replied rudely, saying, “Bhai sun, yaha self service hai.” I was stunned at how disrespectful and untrained he was when it came to dealing with customers.
On the other hand, the lady staff member was polite and handled the situation maturely — unlike her colleague. Honestly, she should be the one managing the counter because she understands basic hospitality, something that man clearly lacks.
I’ve visited many La Pino’z outlets before and always had a decent experience, but this particular visit was ruined just because of one arrogant staff member. The food was good, but the service — especially that white-shirt guy’s attitude — was pathetic.
La Pino’z really needs to train their staff on customer service. Hospitality is a basic expectation in any restaurant, and unfortunately, this outlet failed miserably in that regard. Extremely...

First of all, it was too pricey.
It appears price of any commodity is totally based on how much ‘craze’ there is, not based on ‘value for money’.
Despite requesting to put very little cheese, pizza was loaded with cheese, which is another great example about ‘craze’ for cheese.
Without knowing how unhealthy it is to eat too much cheese, the craze is there because it is ‘foreign’.
Worst of all, one has to climb steep staircase to reach the restaurant.
Senior people would have difficulty climbing the staircase.
Of course, when people from younger generation can throw loads of money for food ideas imported from foreign, just for ‘craze’, that’s where ‘huge gains’ could be made, why bother about seniors.
On one side, farmers are committing suicide, while the so called ‘craze’ is letting people throw loads of money at such goods and services, without questioning the need.
It’s time for change, a change that enables questioning every ‘craze’ that’s around before consumption.
Time to wake up.
NB: I chose to eat pizza, just to avoid too spicy food for a change, certainly not...
