With their first outlet in Hyderabad, the Bangalore based Biggies Burger 'n' More is surely making a difference in the market which is overloaded with retail giants from across the globe. Sporting a simple yet elegant menu centered around fast food, the place is serving some delectable burgers, hot dogs, fries and ofcourse mojitos and milkshakes to go along. On my recent visit to the place, I got to intensively sample their menu where the best of the lot for me were
1.) Chicken Cheesy Beast - Chicken patty filled with cheese giving the flowing ooey-gooey cheesy feeling with every bite - What more would you even want from a burger?! 2.) Chicken Crunch Beam Double Decker - Loaded with two chicken patties having different preparations - one fried crisp while the other having a spicy mince, grilled to perfection. A perfect hunger buster! 3.) Grilled Mushroom - Pan fried mushrooms topped over a crispy veggie patty. 4.) Tandoori Chicken Wrap - Flavourful tandoori chicken chunks wrapped along with some mayo and salad in a whole wheat bread. 5.) Cheesy Wedges - The best shareable platter while you wait for your food having paprika tossed potato wedges topped with cheese spread. 6.) Chicken Jerk Wings - Grilled chicken wings tossed in Jamaican origin Jerk spices.
What's even more interesting is that they also run a Burger Buffet giving an unlimited number of burgers and fries to the diners for a fixed price, which is great deal if you are a fan of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUnfortunate experience on 24th. We drove for over an over an hour from the opposite side of the city, and on arrival at 10:25pm the incharge Mr. Sandeep refused to serve us saying that the staff had left early and they were 'settling' the counter. On telling them that it didn't make sense since the timings on Zomato and Google showed that the restaurant was open until 11pm. They came up with a second reason that "People from the three bars upstairs come and bother us if we're open until 11". They were unapologetic, impolite, and didn't even utter the word sorry EVEN ONCE, wouldn't even talk properly and were busy with cleaning grills and 'settling' at the counter. No etiquettes whatsoever! I called the manager, Mr. Sharath, who had himself left a little early, but was kind and apologetic about our experience. He spoke to the incharge and asked us to place an order. I wouldn't, since the actual chefs/cooks had left and the kitchen cleaned.
If there is a word to describe my experience, it's 'Insulting'.
I am shocked that a newly opened place, part of a chain, would do a thing like this.
However nice their burgers maybe wouldn't go back. Lots of other good burger places in the city to try. I feel bad for Biggies!

Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis review is based upon my dining experience here on 5 May this year. Just going to list out the pros and cons briefly :
Pros :
ā ļø Taste and quality of the food items (which I had ordered) was better than similar items available in the Mc Donald's restaurants menu. This is not an exaggeration. ā ļø The level of service was good. I was also satisfied with the behaviour of the staff. ā ļø Good range of payment options were available. Coming to the offers / discounts, this restaurant requested me to accept their own offer (flat 15% off on total bill) instead of the same offer available on that day in Swiggy Dineout. So, I was happy and I accepted it.
Cons :
āļø The only negative point at this place (as per my observation and experience) was that the seating could have been better. I sat on a small wooden chair with a small wooden table and I didn't feel completely comfortable. Restaurants like this one are generally expected to have far better seating options like soft seats and bigger and colourful tables.
On a scale of 1-5 stars, I have given this place a 4-star rating. But, it will be worth visiting for casual dining and quick American...
