Visited Kembara for dinner, with colleagues from work. It was five of us on a weekday evening (Tuesday). We made a reservation though it wasn't necessary as the place had more than few empty tables. Bottom-line - An expensive but excellent pan-asian restaurant.

Finding the restaurant isn't too hard, it is inside the giant Salarpuria Sattva campus and entering it from the rear side gate gives you easy access to the parking lot as well. They have a few spots reserved for Kembara so the security folks will guide you there if you need help. Parking during after business hours should be pretty easy as most business parks wind up by 7pm.

Kembara is a small/cozy yet minimalist swanky restaurant that offers both indoor and outdoor seating. We chose the latter as it was a pleasant evening. They are a vegan-friendly restaurant as well which most pan-asian places tend to be.

The Menu is traditional hard copy which is a rarity that I appreciate. The wait staff make handwritten orders which unfortunately saw us also receiving an extra drink we never ordered. We weren't charged for it though.

We ordered a bevy of items across beverages, starters, main course. Refer to the dishes in the attached receipt . We loved all the Sushi varieties, just fabulous. The chicken gyoza was excellent which is a dim-sum type dish but mildly toasted?. Main course was excellent as well. The layered chocolate crepe dessert was excellent and unique in flavour. Wait time for orders is decent, if you plan on a long meal with lots of conversations. Thankfully they don't have music though I wouldn't mind a mild background one.

Overall, it was a pricey-but-worth it experience with the bill roughly at 2k INR per person. Good for celebrating both business and personal milestones over a good meal.

Definitely on par with Asie in...

We visited this place for a team lunch. The food was generally good, but the ambiance was basic, and the prices were on the higher side.

Mushroom & Cheese Dimsum (4/5): A unique and flavorful combo with a nice blue color from butterfly pea flower. The stuffing could use a little more seasoning.

Tibetan Chicken Dumplings (4/5): Generous chicken filling with thin, delicate dumplings. Simple and tasty.

Chilli Chicken (4/5): Traditional flavor, nothing special but still satisfying. Crispy Baby Potato (5/5): Delicious! The crispy potatoes with a tangy sauce were a highlight and definitely worth trying.

Crispy Avocado Sushi (5/5): A great vegetarian option. The avocado ball added a wonderful crunch, making this a unique and tasty dish.

Nasi Goreng (5/5): A flavorful fried rice with perfectly paired chicken satay. A standout main course.

Miso & Sweetcorn Soup (2/5): Lacked flavor and felt more like salty water. Missing tofu made it incomplete.

Garlic Fried Rice (3/5): Decent but nothing unique or exciting.

Veg Boat Noodles (4/5): Full of fresh vegetables and nice flat noodles. A good dish.

Khow Suey (0.5/5): Major disappointment. Overpowering garlic with a thick, rich gravy that ruined the dish. One tip: Serve soup/gravy separately so people can add as much as they like.

Honey Toast (4/5):A classic dessert, but overpriced for what it is.

A little corporate discount...

This is a brand new Pan Asian bistro opened in the heart of Hyderabad Knowledge Park - Salapuria Sattva! Opened by the same Féu Café team - Specially curated menu by Féu head chef - sadly it's just the menu - the food 🍲 - not so great- this was shared by our neighboring table, except for the Japanese Mochi 🍡 Ice cream-it was the highlight dish ! Plus it's too expensive, on par like 5 🌟 hotel 😩! Ordered starters - Veg Crystal dimsum - yes succulent, steamy delicious dimsum that I have had at several restaurants - nothing special. Veg Spring roll - Good dish, again nothing unique - you can get this 🥟 anywhere! Chicken satay with peanut 🥜 sauce - Yes it was good, well cooked - Again nothing unique that separates this dish from what's available elsewhere, Shrimp 🦐 tempura Sushi - OK - not great - filling wasn't so juicy - mayo sauce used on the outside was horrible... 😔. You see where I am going with this - Nothing special!! Beverage - Ordered Café Americano ☕ - this was well brewed - thank the espresso machine 🤣. Main course - Burnt Garlic Fried rice 🍚 - not good, big pieces of Onion in the dish - Average in taste! Krapow Kai dish - Chicken in Thai basil sauce - Sauce excellent - chicken meat was bad! Overcooked rubber meat - had to cancel the dish! Bad dish served!! Overall not so great first...
