Exotica Hyderabad's one of the known and famous dine-in restaurants has started its second venture in the city. Both the outlets are rooftop based on the great view of the city and an amazing ambiance with a beautiful interior. After the successful run at the Banjara hills, the owner thought about the IT crowd as it's quite far from the IT offices. So, now they have the second outlet at Hi-tech city opposite to Hitex Minar which is again a rooftop with the view and such beautiful decor to embrace the interior. The ambiance of this place is quite different from the first place as it has more greenery lush were added along with some artifacts pieces inside the indoor seating.
Talking about the Food:
Appetizers:
Talwar E Tandoori Murg: Now it was the royal entrance of tandoori chicken kebab skewed in the sword which quite a fascinating presentation of the kebab. The taste was good as the flavors of the marination was well inside the meat which was making if more juicy and succulent enough.
Murg Kasturi: Another chicken kebab dish that was quite different from other dishes as the main ingredient of the marination was dry fennel leaves which have its own aroma and taste. It is other ingredients in the marination the taste of the dish has been enhanced to the next level and it was melting in the mouth.
Drums of Heaven: The Chicken lollipop was completely covered sweet, sour, and spicy sauce the taste was superb. The sauce flavor was well inside the meat and as well on the bone too which make the meat tender and succulent enough every bite was flavorful.
Butter Garlic Prawns: I am a big seafood lover and when it comes to prawns I cannot stop my self to have as many pieces as I can from the serving. These juicy big prawns were tossed in a white creamy sauce which has strong butter and garlic essences. It was lite and tasty but required a small amount of salt seasoning in it.
Sichuan style chili Mushrooms: It’s a crunchy battered deep-fried mushroom that was looking like chicken but a veggie which was tossed in Sichuan chili sauce as when you take a bite of it the Sichuan chili heat hits on your tongue and explodes the flavor inside the mouth.
Dahi KE Kebab: The Star dish of the day I have eaten this dish at many restaurants and even in a couple of my favorite places too but I wasn’t quite impressed. But here it was quite different where the flavors were right enough and the after-taste was sweet and sour one which was perfect for my taste palate.
Paneer Peshawari Tikka: The Another gem from the menu for vegetarian options these paneers was so soft and fresh that they have absorbed all the flavors from the marination and it was perfectly cooked in tandoor with lite charred texture on the edges of the paneer.
Main Course:
Paneer Lababdar: This beauty can’t be left out of the menu every place has its own way and style to cook this amazing dish. The paneer cubes were fresh and soft and the gravy was thick, creamy, and tangy which was perfect with butter naan.
Dal Zafraan: The best dal makhani I have eaten till now the taste was so smooth that it was melting in the mouth and the texture was so buttery and creamy that makes you to eat more of it and it's hard to stop your self from eating such delicious dal.
Mutton Rogan josh: It's one of my favorite wazwan dishes as it's a fusion of subtle spices and flavor no too much of hypertension in this dish but quite extensive and focused, The gravy was nice and thick and the mutton was so tendered that it was easy coming out of bone. But the dish was missing a little of its Rogan which comes out of ghee on the top.
Dum Biryani: It’s a Hyderabad's specialty, and we know you cannot go wrong when it comes to Dum Biryani as it's a basic need of Hyderabadi every day. The biryani was well cooked and flavorful the mutton pieces were juicy and tendered, the rice was perfectly cooked.
Desserts:
The scrumptious meal ended well with Gulab Jamun.

Read moreHello guys. Welcome back with another review session. It feels so good after a long time to attend a review session. We all know how the life has changed in a short span of time. Right now everything is normal and I feel the most loss has happened to the F&B industry. Even that is becoming into normal and started their services with all safety measures. But still the public is hesitating to go for a dine in.
Recently we had our first dine in after a long time at Exotica Hitech city. EXOTICA is nestled down at Hitech city in the building at 7 floor. The restuarant is following all the safety measures without fail. There were temperature check as soon as we arrive at the restaurant and santization as well. As you enter the restaurant you are welcomed with a calm Buddha statue and a red bull. Exotica has been maintaining their theme. Exotica is known for their alfresco seating. They have maintained it over here as well. Most of the place is open seating where you can enjoy the scenery as well. They even have an private dining section for among 50 - 60 pax which is generally opened in the evenings. Well at the roof top the ambience is top notch and the scenery and the food with a view. You will definitely love the view along with food. I assure you will be having your best time with your partner.
Food :- Well talking about the food. We had started with few mocktails. Pan Mojito stands at the top order from the mocktails we tried. It's basically the Pan we eat generally with Gulkand, shredded coconut and some cherries. It is represented in a drink form along with the pan leaf and blended well. Next comes the Pina colada it was also awesome. Next comes Kala khatta. The Watermelon mocktail was good.
Appetizers :- We had started with Kumb Exotica. I personally loved it and would definitely recommend this. I generally like Mushrooms but this was amazing. Button Mushroom stuffed with spinach and cheese and sauted little bit to have the crunchy flavour at the bottom and the sides. Next comes the "Murgh-e-Champ" presented like chicken skewers. The chicken was well marinated with the home spices and tandoored in a clay oven. The dish was good but the chilli flavour was dominating the dish. Next was the "Hakka Chilli Chicken" this was amazing and loved it to the core. Chicken sauted with bell peppers, onions and good amount of chilli sauce, soy sauce made the dish so tasteful. Next item was " Panner Tikka Mirch" Panner slabs and the green chilli paste sandwiched between the Panner and cooked in a clay oven and drillized with good amount of butter. The Panner was so soft as it melts within mouth. Once you start chewing first you will get the soft buttery Panner and later you will get the green chilli paste. I loved the combination. Next was the "Talwar-e-mutgh" this was also an amazing dish and must try dish from EXOTICA. Next item was " Bhatti wala Nimbu Mirch Prawns" this one was also an amazing dish from the menu. Prawns cooked in a clay oven along with Home spices and lemon zest makes the dish so amazing.
Main course :- For the main course we had Dal Saffran, Butter Chicken, Ra rha Gosht along with Roti basket. Hands down the best Dal Makhani I had in my life. The creamy texture, the richness takes the dish to the next level. Loved the dish with the heart. Butter chicken was very good. Even it was filled with richness in butter which made the gravy amazing. Even the Ra rah Gosh (mutton) was amazing, the red color in gravy the thickness, the texture everything went well.
Well this is my opinion on EXOTICA. They are following the safety measures, proper hygeine and sanitization standards. If you are looking for an top notch food with an amazing ambience then this is the place. Do visit the place with your loved ones, family, friends and have an amazing experience. With that note signing off and meet you soon in an...
Read moreWe all look forward to various aspects of a restaurant. Some individuals place attentive service, a diverse menu, or a killer view right up there with the quality of the food. It’s no surprise that restaurants with scenic views have become most sought after these days. If there is anything that has the power to make you freeze for a second and consider that life didn't turn out so bad till now, it's a scenic view with your loved ones paired up some amazing food to munch on. There's really something special about a good alfresco dining setup overviewing the cityscape. And when all of the factors, good food & an amazing scenic view are combined, one shouldn't think further ahead of Exotica. Exotica, an alfresco dining restaurant, the name which is popular among the locals in Hyderabad, had opened another outlet in Hitech city area right before the Pandemic phase & lockdown phase started in the city. Exotica, situated on the 7th floor of Biziness Square building, with close proximity to Hitex Minar, is one such restaurant in Hyderabad that offers the perfect setting for a nice cosy lunch or dinner with your dream date but this place lights up at night as the view is mesmerizing. Although it is situated on the rooftop, the entire property is enveloped by a canopy thereby keeping the authenticity of rooftop dining as well as the comfort of patrons in place. The running water, wooden flooring, beautiful plants all around paired up with a breathtaking view of the city of Hyderabad will definitely amaze you. It exudes facile lushness via it's decor, ambience and setting. It has a decent amount of space to manage large groups of people and couples, making it a delightful & peaceful restaurant to hang out in. As we went on an afternoon when the Sun god was blessing us with loads of vitamin, we started off with some coolers out of which Kala Khatta & Pan Mojito definitely stands out from the rest. Considering the Pan Mojito, the flavour of gulkand was prominent along with muddled cherries making it a top pick from the menu. Coming to the food, we got Tandoori Brocolli & Pan Tossed water chestnut from the appetizers, tandoori broccoli has the perfect roasted florets coated with cream cheese & yoghurt and spicy touch which enhanced the taste. Even the Water chestnuts tossed in soy sauce with chillies, bell pepper & spring onion tasted amazing as it had a great balance of taste, texture & colour. Next up, we got Roti pe Boti & Talwar-E-Tandoori Murg, both of which are an amazing appetizer for meat lovers. Talking about Roti pe Boti, the boneless succulent boti of mutton roasted in a ground spice marination served on a mini roti was really sumptuous, on the contrary, Tandoori Murgh is something I will definitely recommend to all as the roasting was so perfect & whole spices marinated had seeped into the meat layers, leaving us no other option to fall for it. From the mains, we got Butter chicken masala, Dal Zafraan & Rarha Gosht along with assorted bread-basket, the butter chicken masala definitely packed loads of flavours of tomato & onion gravy in the roasted meat pieces, however, the spice level can be reduced a bit. Onto the Rarha Gosht, the meat pieces were definitely succulent with the blend of whole spices included into the curry infusing the gravy with its quality into the mutton pieces. Even the Dal Zafrani had a rich, creamy texture with black lentils & loads of cream into it, again a recommended one from the menu. Ending with Gulab Jamun which is again a must-try item here amongst the other sweet picks. Lastly, Exotica has opened up for Dine-in with all proper hygiene & sanitization standards in place. Offering some top-notch quality food along with an equally great ambience, Exotica is the perfect stop for your dream date for your loved ones paired with the perfect ambience for an...
