We went to this place craving for a soup and not finding it any where. First impression of the place nice elegant decor, peaceful and nice music playing. Feels like royalty with the high seating. Service: The person in charge came to the table and seemed very knowledgeable and friendly and great demeanor. We wanted things in veg and suddenly he did not seem that happy asking "are you veg. ohh!!!" it sounded as if veg are not welcome. if there is no veg items then he could have said so. Anyways he said that we do not have a veg soup however can put together a consommé. we agreed and also added the Cesar salad as recommended as he can make it in veg. Felt good that he is trying to customize for the customers rarity these days. I will give the service a 3* for the effort and handling. but the ratings go down because what happened after this. Apart from the food which we felt we were not given a proper explanation and taken for a ride (i am also a trained home cook and have made these items multiple times and hence know what I am talking about) Post dinner when we came out it was raining and cherry on the cake the valet guys were sitting inside the car with the AC and engine running and music on full blast) When i confronted him he said he just got into the car and wanted to park it in a different place. When i checked the app the engine was never turned off since we gave to valet. We did not want to create a scene there and just left. Food: HORRIBLE to say the least. the consomme was tasteless with just couple of veggies put together and with a high possibility of the chicken stock being used. Cesar salad: I have had better than these. 4-5 stalks of cold cabbage dressed with olive oil and 2 pieces of cherry tomato sliced and put on the side, one rusk (which you get in the local super market ) broken into 4 and put on the 4 corners. and couple of cheese slice given on the side. this did not taste or look like cesar salad and was beyond imagination. looking at both we decided not to order any more we were so disappointed. Price: it is expensive but cant judge because the bill said Chicken soup and Chicken Cesar salad and each of them cost about 400/- not worth it. couple of days back we went to Farzi cafe similar pricing but great taste of food and we had ordered the same 2 dishes. Overall: great place to look at and maybe their food might be interesting if we are having non -veg. If veg please avoid and do not let them customize. I have lost all faith in that. Might go there again to check out their specialties and give another review but not finding confidence after the experience.
PS: we did not take a single pic of the food as it was not even worth...
Read moreAnother addition to the ever increasing line up of premium casual dining places in the city, f house is an eclectic experience. The ambience design and set up of the place is absolutely chic and unlike anything else we have in Hyderabad right now. Even the restrooms bear the signature brand styling and artwork and creates an almost unexpected wow moment there too.
The service and hospitality is top notch with all the staff very well trained in the menu, service, seating and etiquettes. One of the things for example, I loved, is as we ordered the soba noodles and it came to our tables, and we took our time to get to the dish because of other things going on around us, the staff waiting on us politely came over and reminded us gently that the dish is best had when itâs warm. Such a mark of fine service! Even though the staff kept an eye out to make sure we were having the best experience we could, they also did not come around to be intrusive either, which is another big thumbs up. A lot of other smaller moments of exceptional service which would make this post way too long.
The place itself is divided into three broad sections. They have a dimly lit club section with loud music that we didnât venture into. Instead settled for the restaurant section or the lounge section more like. Outside the lounge section, in the open air space is the bar section with high stools and ease of moving around and quite comfortable there too.
The food itself was like an 8-8.5 on a scale of 10. We ordered from a selection of Lebanese, Asian and italian cuisine. This was one food experience which took me a while to figure out. The food had everything going in terms of texture, flavour, construction n presentation. Yet, the first mouthfuls felt like the flavours will a little subdued. Yet, as u dug into them a little more, and maybe used a palate cleanser in between, the taste palate started to get sensitised to the subtle flavours n thatâs when u began to experience the beauty of each dish. Also, our fault a little here in cutting across cuisines simply because their menu was too exciting to make us sample a lot there.
The only star taken away from this place, because the two different music sets cutting across from the bar section and the club section wafting into the lounge section made for a bit of a dampener on what would hv otherwise been a fantastic experience. Hope the mgmt takes note of these sound spillovers n addresses them.
And yea, feel free to dress up in your quirkiest fashion best if u dare to, coz this is one place that wonât make u...

India's first-ever F-House is now in Hyderabad and can't STAY CALM. Located in prime Jubilee Hills, RD #36, this place just oozes fashion from the get-go. The ambiance is well set up to excite the fashion geeks and there is a semblance of fashion elements in every nook & corner. With a plethora of seating options including indoor and outdoor, private dining, romantic date nights, and whatnot, this place has got it all. My visit was more focussed on food but cannot stop loving their decor everywhere and the whole vibe.
Coming to food, knowing that it's being curated by Chef Ahamad Sha, I know what to expect but then the menu (which by the way is done thoughtfully like a fashion magazine) boosts multiple cuisines ranging from Chettinad to Chinese, Italian to continental and there is something for everyone out there. With a bold chef behind it, I know the menu will show diversity in each dish, and flavor profiles don't just tease you but make you fall in love.
We tried a lot of dishes and have to say almost every dish was absolutely delicious and felt each ingredient made sense in each dish.
