I recently had the misfortune of dining at Kritunga, and I must say it was a truly dreadful experience from start to finish. Not only was the service abysmal, but the lack of maintenance in this establishment was downright appalling. Let me share the excruciating details of my visit, which left me thoroughly disappointed and disgusted.

As I sat down, it took an agonizingly long time for a server to even acknowledge my presence. The staff seemed completely disinterested and unengaged, as if they were doing me a favor by serving me. When my order was finally taken, the server had the audacity to get it wrong not once, but twice! The level of incompetence displayed was beyond comprehension.

To add insult to injury, the wait for my food was agonizingly lengthy. As I glanced around the restaurant, I noticed that other diners were also experiencing significant delays in their orders. It was a clear indication of a poorly managed kitchen and an inept staff unable to handle even a moderate influx of customers.

As if the poor service and subpar food weren't enough, the restroom facilities were a whole other nightmare. The washrooms were filthy, with overflowing trash bins, broken fixtures, and a distinct odor that made it impossible to spend more than a few seconds inside. We recently visited Kritunga Restaurant located near PNR Enclave, KPHB, and honestly, it turned out to be one of the most disappointing dining experiences we’ve had in a long time.

As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were hit by a strong and unpleasant foul smell — something that instantly made us question the hygiene standards of the place. The atmosphere felt stuffy and unclean, and even the seating area didn't look well-maintained. We expected a much better environment, especially from a restaurant with such a known name.

Coming to the food, things only went downhill from there. We ordered a few regular dishes, but to our shock, some of them smelled and tasted like they were either old or spoiled. The flavors were completely off — one item was even cold and had a weird texture, clearly indicating that it wasn’t freshly prepared.

Not only was the taste very poor, but the quantity of the dishes was shockingly low. For the prices they charge, we expected at least reasonable portions, but it felt like they were cutting corners in every possible way. Every item we ordered lacked basic flavor, balance, and presentation.

A Solid Go-To for Spicy Rayalaseema Delights! I recently visited Kritunga Restaurant at their Madhapur branch on a bustling Saturday evening with a few friends. The ambiance was lively, though a bit noisy due to the crowd, which is expected on a weekend. The decor was traditional with comfortable seating, and the place felt generally clean and well-maintained, though the restrooms could use a bit more attention during peak hours. We ordered their famous Gongura Mutton Biryani, Natukodi Fry, and a side of Ragi Sankati. The Biryani was definitely the highlight – incredibly aromatic with perfectly cooked rice and tender mutton infused with the tangy flavor of gongura. It had a good kick of spice, true to Rayalaseema style, but wasn't overwhelmingly hot. The Natukodi Fry was also excellent, with well-marinated chicken and a delicious, peppery flavor. The Ragi Sankati with the accompanying curry was a comforting and authentic experience, perfectly balancing the spiciness of the other dishes. Portions were generous, especially the biryani, which could easily feed two hungry individuals. Service was quite efficient despite the crowd.
