Platform 65 KPHB: A Disappointing Dining Experience Platform 65 KPHB, with its unique train-themed ambiance, initially promised a distinctive dining experience. However, my recent visit fell drastically short of expectations, leaving me utterly disappointed with both the food quality and service. Food Quality: A Reheated Disappointment The culinary offerings were a stark contrast to the enticing menu images. My meal, consisting of tomato soup, their signature chicken starter, and Hyderabadi chicken biryani, tasted reheated and unfresh. Tomato Soup: Lacked the vibrancy of fresh tomatoes, carrying a dull, almost metallic aftertaste. Chicken (Starter & Biryani): Dry and rubbery, suggesting multiple reheating instances. Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani: Disappointingly bland and oily, lacking the expected aromatic spices and flavorful rice. An over-reliance on red chili powder masked the staleness of ingredients. Poor Preparation further compounded the lack of freshness: Overcooked Chicken: Dry and chewy, devoid of any succulent tenderness. Watery Gravy: Thin and lacking the expected richness, depth, and complexity. The overall impression was that shortcuts were taken in the kitchen, compromising the quality and integrity of the dishes. Unsatisfactory Service: Indifference Reigns Even attentive service can sometimes salvage a disappointing meal. Sadly, Platform 65 KPHB failed in this aspect as well. The staff displayed an appalling level of indifference when I politely expressed my concerns about the reheated food and overall lackluster quality. No Apology: No attempt was made to understand or rectify the situation. Apathetic Demeanor: Left me feeling utterly disregarded as a customer. Conclusion : Avoid at All Costs It's disheartening to encounter such subpar food and service, especially at a thematically unique restaurant with a seemingly promising menu. My experience at Platform 65 KPHB was a stark reminder that appearances can be deceiving. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a satisfying dining experience. The combination of stale, poorly prepared food and indifferent service makes it an easy decision to avoid...

After Jubilee Hills and Gachibowli, the next destination for the biggest brands appears to be Kukatpalli/KPHB. This place is ideal in more ways than one. It has a huge migrant population, densely populated, lots of student and IT crowd what with it's close proximity to the best of educational institutions and Hitech City. So this place is located on Highway number 65 and since it is a Train themed restaurant, it's named Platform 65. As the name suggests, the restaurant has a train theme and right from.the entrance, you get the vibes. Each Table is associated with a major train station. We were seated at Vizag. This place can accommodate close to 180 diners at one go.
Service: Service is very prompt and efficient. The food is delivered on a train 🚆 from the kitchen and they seem to have pulled it off with flying colors. The table number is coded and the food is delivered to your table. It's unique experience and kids and adults seem to be enjoying the process.

Verdict: It was very heartening to see this place jam packed on a Tuesday night. Infact, while we were exiting, there were people waiting for their turn for the table. Speaks volumes about how successful they are at the moment. What's important for them would be to sustain this for longer duration of time. They could also look at the possibility to name their dishes on the theme of the restaurant, like how they do in trains. Food was delicious no doubt. It was so good, we had to request for repeats for most of them. Portion sizes is something they could increase. A must visit place...
Read moreMany of us have dreamt of transportation for trying cuisines from the different states, and now you can!! At platform 65, you can have your started at Chandigarh, first main course at Chennai, second at Hyderabad and dessert at Kolkata. This is a new themed restaurant based on railways and so awesome!! The trains are legit and tracks are as good as real! a must experience for everyone and a daily hangout place too! The food is brought to you by the train itself to each table! So technically each table is a station! We chose the Vizak table..
Even.the seats are made like the comfortable double decker seats..in various colors..from orange to puple..the whole decor makes you feel like a classy version of our station and trains.. As the name suggests, it is multi-cuisine but we tried the Andhra cuisine and chinese. We went in a big group and ordered lot of things to try out this new place. It was my first time trying the Tandoori Full Fish Korameenu-tender and so dramatic! Loved it..a must try..the fried version was also good. The Nawabi Murgh Tikka was cooked perfectly, moderately spiced. The Hong Kong Prawns were very soft, and delicious! Chicken Spring Rolls stuffed with chicken and veggies were amazing.. We had some really wonderful Mocktails which went nicely with the starters Strawberry Field and Blue Lagoon which were excellent and the Kiwi was also refreshing. The restaurant staff were courteous and loved the experience. Their Gongura Kodi Vepudu and Venchini Mamasam with Roti and Garlic Naan were awesome!! A bit spicy but that gave the taste of Andhra!! Their Mutton Biryani was good too! Most importantly I loved their desserts - Kaddu ki kheer was less sweet and nice n thick..loved it...double ka meetha was good but too sweet for me..but the Angoori rasmalai with Rabdi and dry fruit rabdi were the showstoppers!! Brilliantly made ,creamy and perfect sweetness !! A memorable place and great thing was sthere was waiting for tables at a weekday and it can seat...
