I have never left a negative review in my life, I also think that you can expect some sort of standard when you go out to eat. Unfortunately, the standard at this restaurant was very poor. Where do I start? We went to Once upon a time in green park, Hyderabad on 13th March 2022z Having entered the restaurant, we had to wait for several minutes to be greeted and seated.
We have been visiting this restaurant few years back when we used to stay in Hyderabad so we were looking forward to the dining experience. Guys running this Restaurant should realize that they no longer can survive in the past glory
The experience came as a bolt out of the blue
no waiter attended to us for a long time after we were seated. No water or any fryums or savoury were served which is a typical to be served in Hyderabad
finally when the waiter arrived, we asked the menu which was an online one. we ordered certain items on the menu which we were told were not available! nothing vegetarian was available which is there in the menu !
When we asked the manager about the lack of veg dishes which were in the menu but not available, he rudely mentioned that paneer is ‘sold out’ and we have to be satisfied with what is available in the menu !
we told the manager that there water was also not served on which he mentioned that water will be served only once dinner arrives !
Then the manager rudely mentioned that they can serve some cucumber (1 piece each ) as a complimentary dish
since it was late in the evening , we ordered for some naan , dal fry , rice , roasted papad , mixed vegetable
We were shocked to find the dismal quantity of the food served. It was meant to be for one person and not 5 pax ! The quantity of rice was triple than the quantity of the vegetable and dal
The waiter forgot to bring the naan and the papad and when we asked about the same , he rudely mentioned that we did not place any order !! He mentioned that we lied !!
Only papad was served after the end of the meal which was so spicy and was useless
The names of the waiter was nagarjuna and name of the manager was gurucharan
They were arrogant and did not apologise at all. They also charged us for the dismal food we ate. The rates are sky high for the less quantity
I wish the management of the hotel takes strict action against this. Sad to say that we are never going to return to green park again. And we won’t recommend to anyone.
Would give it a zero if I could.
Come here if you...

Read moreWe had our Anniversary lunch buffet on Saturday (3rd Sept). Positive- The hospitality, ambience, service, buffet spread were too good. For the first time we saw mutton keema and fish fry as part of a buffet spread and we loved it. All non-veg dishes were marinated well and cooked to perfection. Negatives- Firstly the welcome drink should be served on the table before you serve the starters. But it was kept along with main course and we had to bring it for ourselves. Secondly we went for lunch by 2:00pm and the buffet went on till 3:30pm. Around 3:00pm we were informed that they would close the buffet and if we wanted anything we could take before that. So we went around 3:10pm to have Desserts. But sadly everything were already over and we got only ice-cream and three burfi's and they were not refilling the dessert containers. No fruits were left too. Seeing the number of trays there we know there were good spread of desserts and fruits but we didn't get to have much except 3or4. When you mention that you would close the buffet at 3:30pm, till then shouldn't you be filling in for the existing guests atleast? Then why do charge the same price from everyone? When you're not ready to refill then shouldn't you be charging less atleast? (Because we started our lunch much ahead of closing time.) This was a great disappointment for us when we decided to have our lunch from your hotel on our...
