TGs -The Oriental Grill, Hyatt Hyderabad Gachibowli — Restaurant in Hyderabad

This was my first time trying this cuisine, and here’s what I went with:

Enoki and Shitake Noodle Soup - ★★ Asian Cold Pizza - ★★★★ Pad Krapow Gai - ★★★★ Oriental Cheese Chicken Quesadilla - ★★★

If you’re into raw fish, you might enjoy: Salmon Usuzukuri - ★★★★★ Royal Guard Ceviche - ★★★★★ Spicy Negitoro Roll Sushi - ★★★ (Note: While the Usuzukuri and Ceviche had a delicate, slightly sweet flavor and a soft texture, the sushi had a more pronounced raw smell and taste - might be a bit much for first-timers.)

Lamb Steak in Ginger Chilli Sauce - ★ This one was tough. It had a strong aroma and an aftertaste oddly similar to tuna, which threw me off. Chef Nithin was kind and proactive - he offered to rebalance the flavors and even served a half-portion on the house with a different recipe. Unfortunately, that too had the same raw, fishy aftertaste. Maybe the lamb and fish were stored together?

24hr Braised Pork Belly - ★★★★ Chef’s Special Spicy Sticky Fried Rice - ★★★ - It’s burnt chilli oil flavoured. While I love that, seasoning is a bit off.

Service - ★★★★ Really appreciate the gesture - they served us a complimentary dessert because the lamb didn’t work out.

The Oriental grill is a pleasant surprise 😮 ! Our chef Nitish was excellent, in preparing and serving us our dishes exclusively ! This is the first established Teppanyaki restaurant in Hyderabad , and it is well established ! Reservation is mandatory to this restaurant ! Service is top notch and I hope there is no compromises in the future !

As soon as you enter inside the restaurant, you get a dedicated attendant and chef for your Teppanyaki table ! This restaurant serves both Pan Asian Veg and Non veg dishes as well as combo meals. Separate Main dish and Teppanyaki dishes are prepared on the Teppanyaki counter. Ordered Sea bass fish dish, Burnt garlic rice and salted basil infused vegetables as main dish - all were cooked live and were top notch.

Star dishes - Teppanyaki Chicken dish served with assorted grill vegetables 🥦! Beautifully grilled 😍! The next highlight dish - Pork belly in chilli garlic sauce ! Just like a wow 🤩!! Finally got bombed by Alaskan bomb dessert 🍨, delicious 🤤 dessert 🍮! Only issues - Kids are a big nuisance - shouldn’t allow them to an adult Grill with bar place ! Also some of the audience don’t even know this concept ! Business dinners shouldn’t be allowed as lot of cheap audience visits this restaurant without any knowledge...

My recent visit to the TGs at Hyatt Hyderabad was nothing short of delightful. From the moment we stepped in, the hospitality and ambiance set the tone for an excellent evening.

Chef Robin truly stole the show with his expert skills and charming personality. His teppanyaki performance was both impressive and engaging, turning our meal into an entertaining culinary journey. His knowledge of the cuisine added depth to the experience, and his warm interaction made it even more memorable.

Pooja, our server, was exceptionally welcoming and attentive. Her cheerful demeanor and constant smile made us feel comfortable and cared for throughout the evening. She added a personal touch to the service, making our experience all the more enjoyable.
