I recently visited Tuscany at the Trident Hyderabad to celebrate a friend's birthday, and unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. From the beginning, we encountered numerous issues that completely ruined our evening.

Firstly, the reservation desk gave us incorrect information. They had no idea what menu was being served that day, and we were misled into believing we could enjoy Italian cuisine. Upon arrival, we were informed that it was a Moroccan menu night, something that was never mentioned during the reservation process. This miscommunication was highly frustrating, especially since we had specifically chosen the restaurant for its Italian offerings.

The service was equally disappointing. The waiter, instead of understanding our concerns, kept insisting that they couldn't make Italian food as it was a Moroccan-themed evening. We were repeatedly interrupted by staff who seemed more interested in explaining why they couldn't accommodate us than in providing a solution. This constant back-and-forth with the managers and waiters consumed our entire evening, leaving us no time to enjoy each other's company.

Despite the apologies and the offer not to charge us, the overall experience was severely lacking. It was not about getting free food; we were willing and able to pay for our meal. What we wanted was a pleasant dining experience, which we certainly did not receive. These kinds of establishments often forget that customers raise concerns not to get something for free but to have a good experience.

Love Italian food? Then Tuscany transports you directly to Italy! Tuscany at Trident Hyderabad is a restaurant dedicated to Italian cuisine. During our conversation with the Executive Chef Lamba, we got to know the love for the freshness of Italian spices and ingredients that most of it is sourced directly from Italy. Imagine, all the way from Italy to Hyderabad, commendable job and claps for the love and passion for cooking by Chef Lamba and his team.

The beauty of Tuscany is that they keep changing their menu and bring in new innovative dishes for the guests to relish. We were lucky that they had recently introduced a new menu and we tried some of the best delicacies. Chef Lamba explained most of the dishes on the menu and talked about his signature dish Lime and Chilli Sea Bass. Porcini mushroom and ricotta ravioli and green pea and bacon soup are some other highly recommended dishes at Tuscany. Also, if you are fond of desserts then their Ecuador chocolate ganache with salted caramel ice-cream is a must try.
