We went to this restaurant to eat and ended up booking a desert safari tour for four days/three nights in jaisalmer and didn't regret it at all! Anna, the owner apperently is from Jaisalmer and has good knowledge about the difrent style of safari. He even came with us to jaisalmer and made sure everything was fine. We are super happy with the tour we did! And all this at a very good price. Anna is a trustworthy and honest guy. On the tour and after the tour he cheked in and made sure everything matched our expactation and yes it did! Wouldn't change a thing next time. Don't expect too much luxury on the camel safari tour. Otherwise book the "swiss tent" one. it was exactly what we were looking for. Nature, cooking on the fire, watching the stars while falling asleep and waking up at suntise. Adou, our guide went the extra mile for us! Not touristy at all. We spent 3 nights in the desert and on the last day we were invited for lunch at our camelguides village. An unbelievable experience. There is not one thing I can complain about, except maybe that they use only mineral water out of plastic bottle which then produces a lot of whaste (which was always carried away by our camel-guide). And last but but not least: annas restaurant is a beautiful place to hang out in jodhpur. With a great view at the fort and nice homely...
Read moreThis restaurant has two rooftop levels with magnificent views of the Fort and city of JODPHUR. one level is open. The other level is under cover- so you can dine at Anna’s in any weather. SALU is the chef. He is very good. My friends and I stayed in the hotel under the restaurant. We sat down with SALU in the afternoon to discuss what we wanted for dinner. Next thing SALU went to the market on his motorcycle and bought all the fresh ingredients for our dinner. The best chicken tikka I have ever eaten. I will be back for more of SALU’S...
Read moreGreeted by the waiter rather impolitely (too personally), we asked for salty lemon sodas, got plain. Asked for toast-scrambled eggs and got sunny side up with the announcement that they were one egg short but still decided to not inform us before. Paid full price though, 100rp/toast, not really toasted, no garnish in the plate. Rather disappointed, perhaps the Indian cuisine gets...
