Sam's Art Cafe — Restaurant in Jodhpur

Sam’s Art Cafe is amazing. I stayed in Jodhpur for a week, and discovered this place the second day. And from then, we only went to it. It was not that we didn’t tried to go anywhere else, it was that we went to other places, ordered a few things, we taste them, and then we had the urge to go to Sam’s Art Cafe. It was not that other restaurants were bad, but it was that this one is really, really, incredibly amazing!! The food its superb, the attention is so heartwarming, and the place is so confortable and with a grant view. We used to go everyday. For breakfast we will go on the roof to where they have an amazing terrace with an incredible view of the fort. During the night it is also amazing, with the stars and the moon, but it is also quite comfy to have dinner in the ground floor where there is more of a lounge vibe with an amazing decoration. I specially LOVED the service. Raju, one of the waiters, is so kind and sweet, he is always so attentive and he really does he’s best, always! Bali is so outspoken and fresh, he is a lost sage, really, he knows a lot but don’t know what he knows, he’s a crazy man! Really, these people make this place go from good to incredibly amazing. There are also many options for both vegan and vegetarians. I really recommend the eggless omelet, the porridge and the naan for breakfast. For lunch or dinner the veg hamburger (with or without cheese) is delicious, order them with some french fries -the only place in India where fries are really crispy-. Particularly the best place to have variety of food in old city, Jodhpur. Plenty of options available from Indian to Global dishes. Vibrant, colourful and very well decorated. Tremendous collection of art pieces that one can only see in museum. I am a big time coffee fan and was not expecting such a best dark coffee in old Town cafe. Everything is perfect and upto the mark. I would give all credit to the owner - Mr. Sandeep. He has true sense to connect perfectly well with the customers. He treat customers like his friends / family. Always tried to give something extramile whenever one expect his help. Be it on customized food, local tour guidance, vehicle hire or shopping assistance, he was always there. We had a pretty awful experience at the Sams Art Cafe. The staff there is ill manners and ridiculous, they have no shame and manners to treat the guests. We ordered food and beverages at our pace which created a problem for the owner and staff there. When we asked the staff and owner about their behaviour they said that since we sat there for a considerable long time (2 hours) that was a problem for them. The owner is pretty much a shameless fellow who doesn’t know how to talk as well along with his staff. When we asked them to behave properly they said what can you do with us. A staff also told us to not visit the cafe ever again.
