Shahi Samosa in Jodhpur is an iconic food spot that lives up to its reputation, offering an unforgettable culinary experience. Located near the bustling Clock Tower, Blue City, and Sardar Market area, this place is a must-visit for anyone looking to sample authentic Rajasthani street food. Though the place is extremely crowded — and we mean packed with people eager to savor the delicacies — the wait is absolutely worth it once you take your first bite.
We tried the renowned Mirchi Bada, Shahi Samosa, and Shahi Lassi, and each dish exceeded our expectations. The Shahi Samosa is a standout — crispy, golden on the outside, and filled with a delicious spiced potato mixture. The flavors are perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of heat and a slight tang, making it an absolute delight. Each bite is packed with texture and flavor, and it's no wonder people flock here for it.
The Mirchi Bada is another treat — a crispy fried green chili stuffed with a spiced potato filling. It's spicy but not overpowering, with a satisfying crunch that makes it addictive. Paired with a chutney, it's the perfect snack for those who enjoy bold, savory flavors.
Finally, the Shahi Lassi is a refreshing and indulgent drink that complements the spicy snacks perfectly. It's thick, creamy, and slightly sweet, providing a cooling contrast to the heat from the samosas and mirchi bada.
The atmosphere is energetic and vibrant, with the hustle and bustle of the surrounding market adding to the authentic street food vibe. Despite the crowd, the staff manages the orders efficiently, making the experience enjoyable.
If you're in the Clock Tower area, Shahi Samosa is definitely worth the visit. It's not just about the food — it's about immersing yourself in the flavors and essence of Jodhpur’s street food culture. Highly recommended for anyone...

Since, we were also in the market and out of curiosity stepped into these were my observations: They prepare fresh kachoris, mirchi pakodas and samosas in batches one after the another. Average of 15-20 mins is what it takes to prepare each items simultaneously The management is exceptional be it at the billing counter or handover of food as per order placed or cooking food items. First come first basis and quick and in order. Which is rare to see at such places. No computers no mobile applications to manage this business. Hats off Every items is priced 24/- if I recall correctly which is a pretty decent price. You can have with chatnis or bread as per choice.
They were serving kulfi as well which we didn’t tried but pakoras and samosas were great. Totally worth...
