Nestled in the heart of the city, Brindavan Restaurant is a haven for vegetarian food lovers. From the moment you step in, the warm ambiance and subtle aroma of freshly prepared dishes set the tone for a delightful dining experience.
The menu is a well-curated mix of North Indian, South Indian, and Chinese delicacies, catering to diverse palates. I started with their crispy paneer tikka, which was perfectly marinated and grilled to perfection. The dal tadka and paneer butter masala were rich in flavor, complemented beautifully by freshly baked butter naan. Their veg biryani, cooked with aromatic spices, was another highlight, paired with a refreshing bowl of raita.
One of the standout aspects of this restaurant is its commitment to hygiene and quality ingredients. Every dish tasted fresh, with the right balance of spices—not too overwhelming yet full of flavors. The portion sizes were generous, making it a great value-for-money option.
The service was prompt and courteous. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and suggested dishes based on our preferences. The restaurant’s ambiance was calming, with soft lighting and comfortable seating, making it an excellent choice for both family outings and casual dining.
To end the meal on a sweet note, I tried their gulab jamun, which was soft and perfectly soaked in syrup. It was the perfect finish to an already satisfying meal.
Overall, Brindhavan Restaurant Veg is a must-visit for anyone looking for delicious, wholesome vegetarian food. Whether you're a fan of classic Indian dishes or looking for something new, this place won’t disappoint. I highly recommend it for its quality, taste, and excellent service....
Read moreA place serving few of the best veg dishes. Brindavan is a relief after having been left disappointed by the many namesake veg restaurants that I’ve been to.
The place is packed almost all the time, weekend and weekdays, breakfast lunch and dinner. The staffing and service is to the point and very attentive. The place is kept very clean and there is no odour/scent normally one would come across at veg restaurants.
The menu is priced quite reasonably and sports a lavish spread of typical offerings, a few variety stuff and then there is a section of sweets.
The Paper Madala Dosa is our no brainer pick. We also their Naans, Stuffed Kulcha, Paneer Butter Masala and Gobi Manchurian Dry. The whole experience, to say in brief, was very satisfying. The Paneer was so fresh and soft, the gravy of the curry refreshingly different from the normal stuff and the Butter Masala was not too buttery/oily at all. The Manchurian was crispy and soft at parts, which went well with the dish.
The sweet/snack section here offers some great stuff. Ghee Pak was so soft and rich, it was a sinful indulgence. Pista Barfi was good. Badusha was soft and lightly sweet, which is how I like the sugary stuff - kept minimal. However, the pick of the lot would be Fruit Luck - we found ourself having four of those, and I packed home an assortment of these.
The swoomf/mouth freshner at the billing counter is mention worthy as well. Just take a few packets and enjoy for yourself.
Overall, I will say that Brindavan offers some of the best tasting dishes and experience in Kochi, which only a handful can rival. This place has never left me wanting the...
