I’m writing this review after giving Husto Resto Cafe (Palarivattom branch) three months to resolve an issue clearly caused by your staff’s negligence—yet you’ve shown no accountability, almost no communication, and no follow-through.
On April 15th, during a private “bride‑to‑be” celebration for my sister, one of your staff members carelessly moved a table without noticing a DSLR camera placed on it. The camera and lens fell and were severely damaged. The manager on duty acknowledged the mistake and assured me the restaurant would take responsibility. Relying on that commitment, I had the camera repaired and I paid from my pocket.
After waiting a month, I contacted the manager for reimbursement. Instead of honoring the promise, I was told to speak directly with the staff member involved. That individual agreed to pay half—but then resigned and became completely unreachable. Shockingly, the owner also declined responsibility, instructing me to chase the ex-employee myself.
Despite calling the manager and former staff member several times, I’ve received neither the agreed amount nor any meaningful reply. There has been no apology, no customer support, and no resolution.
It’s both unfair and unacceptable that I’m forced to chase multiple people for reimbursement due to a mistake made by your team. Your restaurant should take ownership—not deflect blame onto someone no longer employed. This neglect reflects poorly on your brand, particularly when others have reported similar failures in customer service and communication
