GRILL LAB — Restaurant in Kerala

The chicken sandwich was grilled cooled and microwaved by restaurant. I could figure out that the meat was microwaved because it was warn in touch but burnt tongue on bite. Chicken was dry and not juicy.

Also one infant was screaming and jerk was making the child scream again and again. With a tight closed space like this without any air circulation, the screams were unbearable. Yet the cafe attendants didn't talk to the parents. The attendants were all the time browsing phone occassionally looking up to check whether sky will fall or not.

When I asked for extra veggies they gave a tomato slice as thin as paper of the size of rs1 coin. The onion slice had only 2 rings. The rest might have eaten by rats.

Bread used was old and junk. It was dry, hard and no taste. Probably they had left over bread from previous weak.

Seeing the reviews, I thought the owners know how to make sandwich. But I am heavily disappointed.

If you don't care quality, freshness, originality but only quantity of meat this is place for you.

We somehow escaped from the cafe amidst of the screams. If the food was atleast 3 out of 5, we wouldn't have bothered.

This incident happened 2 months ago. Thought not to write a review thinking it is odd. But somebody else also mentioned that their reviews may be hyped. Beware.

Today on May 24, 2022 the Owner agreed that he is running a place for giving peace to parents of screaming children. This was the irresponsible owner's response - "How rude of you to speak about a screaming child accompanied by parents who have decided to come to my space for some peace of mind! Sad world indeed"

By the way the child was not crying. Child was screaming out of bad parenting. Parents seemed like owner's relatives.

A quaint and quiet place on the bustling main road of Kochi hidden inside a complex. Wasn't sure if it was open since there was no one even though I visited by 8 PM for dinner. As I walked through, the ambience was low-key with dim lights and funky art all around. I placed my order through the QR scanner and they arrived after at least 10 mins.

Crispy chicken burger - A deep-fried chicken breast with crunchy outer and juicy inners topped with saucy coleslaw; the cheese could've been better but apart from that the sweet taste of the bread, the spiciness from the saucy dip and the sourness from the veggies in between elevated the burger to a new level, TOO GOOD MEATY BURGER!!!! 👍

Grilled chicken strips - Chicken breast again cut into strips tossed and marinated well in their spices, tasted pretty good though it was typical, PERI PERI was WOW!!! 😋

Pepperoni pizza - Thick crust pizza which was very cheesy and gooey; the smokiness from the lamb meat was good but it was just these 2 distinctive tastes; nothing much on the whole 🤔

Beef steak wrap - An amazing wrap with fried beef, and juicy mayo sauce inside a soft outer wrap, THE PERFECT COMBO!! ❤️ The beef was very well cooked with saturated juices flowing along the edges along every bite, topped with cheddar, mushrooms, and bell peppers, this was both gooey and sour with the crunchy beef, BEST WRAP!!! 👌

Callebaut chocolate - SO damn thick, rich chocolate with a slightly sour flavor, sweet, hot, and enjoyable!!! 🤩

Tight parking along the main road but 2 wheelers shouldn't have an issue. They have limited seating and decent service but as far as I've noticed people prefer online ordering. Their prices are on the higher side since if you ask for a burger it is ONLY a burger and not fries on the sides. They could work on that front though.

WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE!

This was actually our second time coming here! Both times were memorable due to the experience and high quality customer service we received from Dheeraj!!!

Customer service My initial time coming here with my friend was because it was so hot outside. We did not know about this place before. We only ordered fresh lime drinks at the time. Dheeraj, the manager was so kind and professional!!! He allowed us to sit, cool off, and we enjoyed a brief conversation with him! Due to his excellent customer service we never forget about this place and said we would come back.

We had a special event and came back today. Once again Dheeraj was very welcoming, professional, and super friendly!!! He even allowed us to play our favorite songs!!! Once again we enjoyed a brief conversation with him, and he recommended some awesome dessert (Hot fudge brownie) and also their rich hot chocolate! Because of the occasion we went with his recommendation of the Fudge Brownie with vanilla Ice cream topping!😋😋😋

Food The food was absolutely delicious!!! I am very picky about American style burgers!!! It exceeded my expectations!!! Every bit was wonderful!!! We also had Macaroni and cheese, and cheese pizza with Chicken and Olives😋😋😋 Bon appetite!!!! We topped it off with a warm fudge brown and vanilla Ice cream!!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽❤️

Atmosphere This place is a vibe! It is cozy but still offers modern design, AC, and is comfortable! The music is relaxing!

Cleanliness The place is kept spotless!!!

We will be back again and we will refer friends here as well!!!
