One of my Favourite Bar in town now

I was a bit skeptical to visit this place as there were a few negative ratings on the internet. However there were no better options in the nearby area.

I was at the dormitory for the day and had to spend a relaxed evening, so thought to give the place a visit.

All my worries got washed away as soon as I entered the place I was directed to my seating by a humble Guard who upon interacting was from the same town as mine.

The hospitality by the humble waiters too were extremely nice. I was initially alone and my friend was on the way to join me. Took him about couple of hours though. However my time here from 8-11pm was joyful and quite engaging with the drinks and nice little snacks - mainly beef, peanuts, prawns and masala pappad. There was a TV too showing the cricket match.

These guys had nice varieties of Beer too which are normally not found in usual bars

At around 11.15pm they interrupted our chat nicely to say they have to close operations 😁 We were done anyway and left in a few minutes

Overall a decent...

Last visit here was in the early nineties with a college mate. And then again with the same mate, for a warm time together, and he suggested a beer here. It is not modern fashionable so if one were looking for a louder, brighter, more upbeat space, give this a miss We went in the afternoon, the place had only a couple of other guests. The service was excellent, prompt, friendly, genuinely pleasant and attentive. There is a difference between hospitality and good service I assume? I experienced what I like to imagine is a good hospitality 😊 The beer was well chilled. Not uncomfortably cold The prawn tempura and the accompanying dip were delicious! Also a masala egg fry. Which was okay. The complementary banana chips, with a nice overload of curry leaf flavor and sufficient spice was wafer thin and very good too. We also had butter chapati and a veg curry of some sort which were good too. Overall a nice and comfortable ( and quite satisfying) experience.

Looking forward to visit again. And hope that won’t be years...
