Some suggestions for improvement:
Please fix the wifi, on all floors, make it reliable and fast, so guests can get some work done on their laptops. Right now, it is ridiculously unreliable, and traumatically slow. Plus higher floors have even worse wifi connectivity. Stay in the lower floor like the 1st.
Please have the option of supplying hot water kettles to guests who ask. Don't just limit it to AC room guests. Non-AC room guests also like hot water. Charge them some money if you like for the kettle. I asked a dozen times, and was refused a kettle. Sad rule.
I chose a non-AC Room because i don't like AC rooms. I prefer the natural air. I thought i will open the window etc. But the hotel hasn't protected the windows with mosquito netting, like they have done in the bathrooms. So, if we open the windows, mosquitos will stream in. And you know what happens next.
Be careful with the ceiling fan. It is hanging quite low, like really low, and it will harm you if you're not mindful, like if you happen to raise your arms. Don't even think of standing on the bed.
I found the mattress too soft, which is harmful for the back. I slept on the floor throughout my stay, uaing a yoga mat.
Please keep the beds, pillows, room floor, under the bed, bathroom floors, corridor clean, behind and under tables, clean. Especially be vigilant about various customer hair that is all over the place.
Fix the fan regulators in the rooms, especially in the non AC rooms. Fans should work on all speeds - 1, 2, 3, 4, & 5. Not just at the hyper speed of 5.
Non AC Rooms are small. Wide angle photography makes...
Read moreIt is not very often that I am impressed by pretty much every aspect of a hotel where I've stayed at, but somehow, Hotel Aiswarya really managed to pull it off! Starting from its perfect location at Warriam Road, off Durbar Hall Road (near MG Road, Ernakulam - the shopping hub of Ernakulam), to the front office staff who were extremely courteous throughout (Mr. Vijay, who always had a smile on his face to greet you each time as you pass by), to the quick check-in process etc, the first impression I got of Hotel Aiswarya after walking in, was indeed wonderful! The rooms which are spread over five floors, are spacious enough, kept very clean and well maintained, and most importantly, the bed is extremely comfortable! I literally just sank into the bed and my sleep was the best I've had in recent times. The breakfast buffet the next morning at the ground floor restaurant too was such a delight to see and there was a wide variety of items to choose from, as compared to many other hotels which give you a half-hearted, namesake breakfast. All the items were very tasty and I would really like to commend the chefs who put all their effort in to make sure the guests are served a hearty, yummy breakfast. Hot water is available in the bathrooms throughout, basic toiletries are provided, you can get room service brought to the room till 10 PM, and RO filtered water is provided each day in the room. A modest parking is available in front of the hotel itself. Overall, a wonderful stay and I'd definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who's looking for a relaxed, comfortable and inexpensive stay while...
