We had a horrible experience at D9 Navaratna the heavily hyped hotel in Palakkad. I'm from Alappuzha and my wife is from Palakkad, we were eagerly waiting to visit D9N for the last couple of weeks by seeing the heavily hyped videos on Instagram and yt. At last we went there, at first glance it seems like the hotel was closed as we didn't see any vehicles on there parking area. Security guided us to park our bike and we went in. It was like a day nd night difference from what we seen in those videos, not a single customer was there inside, 2 of there staffs were sitting on 2 chairs. We went to the washroom which was clean nd well maintained. We sat on the first table in right side. The waiter came to us was not at al pleasing in nature like we were there to sopil his free time. He gave us the menu card and we ordered for chicken Schezwan fired rice as main course ilaneer payasam nd ney payasam which are there star items as per promo videos for the desserts. Suddenly we heard some noise above our table, for our shock it was a big rat running on the roof above the tables. The guy who came to took order also seen that and he behaves like it was nothing but a regular thing. Quickly we get off from the chair and said to cancel the order. There was a person sitting near their door and we also said the same thing to him, he was also lyk ok you please get out. Not even an apology for what we saw there. Terrible customer service. We didn't tasted any of their food. We won't recommend this hotel to any one we know.
To the management - please take care of your staffs they are going to ruin your firm. They act like they don't need...

I recently ordered a Chicken Biriyani Combo from D 9 Navaratna Restaurant through Zomato. The order included Chicken Biriyani, Malabari Kozhi Porichathu, and a 250 ml Pepsi for ₹375. My experience was extremely disappointing.
Quality and Quantity: The biriyani was of average quality. The chicken portion was just 10-20 grams, which is ridiculously small. The Pepsi provided was worth ₹20, and the quantity of the combo did not justify the price at all. Essentially, it felt like I paid ₹375 for a subpar biriyani and a ₹20 Pepsi.
Service:Although the delivery was timely (30-45 minutes), the restaurant failed to deliver on its promises. I was very hungry and had been looking forward to this meal based on past positive experiences, but this time, it was a letdown.
Customer Support: When I called the restaurant to address these issues, they rudely cut the call, promising to call back in 5 minutes but never did. They also ignored my WhatsApp messages.
Based on this experience, I feel that D 9 Navaratna is cheating its customers by providing misleading descriptions and poor service. I strongly do not recommend this restaurant and will not be ordering...
Read moreI had a mixed bag of experiences when I recently ate at D9 Navaratna. The restaurant makes an impression with its tidy and well-kept setting, which makes for a comfortable dining experience. The delayed food delivery, however, dampened the good mood.
My patience was put to the test on my first visit because of the unusually lengthy wait for the food. The fact that the security personnel lacked driving expertise made matters worse by causing an unplanned car shuffle. After being asked to move someone else's car, I had to go to the trouble of rearranging my own car in a packed parking lot. What should have been a fantastic eating experience was marred by this unexpected task.
Unfortunately, D9 Navaratna's food did not live up to my expectations. When the dinner was finally served, it was not as good as we had hoped. The great qualities of the meal were further eclipsed by this letdown.
In conclusion, although though D9 Navaratna has a pleasant atmosphere and is clean, they need to work on improving the quality of their food, staff training, and service to give customers a more enjoyable...
