Kovilakam Mess House is a wonderful place to enjoy a delicious meal, but be prepared for the crowds! The food here is exceptional, showcasing local flavors that stand out in every dish. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it a great spot to dine with family and friends.

However, I recently visited around 2 PM and found it to be extremely busy. Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to get a seat, which was disappointing. If you plan to visit during peak hours, I recommend going earlier or later to avoid the rush.

The food was delicious, especially non-veg dishes. The Kadukka roast was excellent. Except for the fish gravy they served, everything else was tasty in their fish meals. The pricing is not high. We also tried beef fry and it also tasted good. I would like to try more dishes from their non veg menu. The place was crowded when we reached, waited for 5 minutes to get a table. They have a small parking lot, right behind the hotel which fits maximum 3 or 4 cars. The road to the mess house is narrow.
