Pandaris Biriyani & Caterers — Restaurant in Kerala

I like restaurants which just serves the purpose. No too much expectation just real and authentic service.

Especially for lunch when one is looking for a meal and if you crave for an authentic local biriyani and if the restaurant keeps a simple menu and food is ready and delivered in a minute or two by the time you washed and sat on the table pandaris at anavathil ( the royal elephant gate of mattancherry palace )is a great option.

Mattancherry biriyani has an unmatched flavour. To reach that this biriyani has to move up some 15 points in the scale of 100. I will rate the flavour 85 out of 100.

But for a price of 150 rs and the quality of rice grain they use they are 100.

It seems that these people can get deliver that 100 point biriyani as well.

Its some that i had a biriyani from a restaurant in mattancherry as most if my indulgence is as an invitee for the muslim weddings where the food is supreme.

surprised a bit not to see the hidden boiled egg which used to be a fort kochi trade mark. May be it is out of fashion now.

Is pappad a regualr inclusion everywhere? . Here it was not included. Date chutney a bit too sweet and lack flavour. Didnt match the legendary quality of any chutney. No pudina chutney either.

If you are touring around in mattanchery fort kochi area and if you are a bit late also may be even after 2 pm you can walk in here

Value for money. Portions. Adequate...

Had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. ❤ we arrived here at 2 pm. By the time, both mutton biriyani and beef biriyani were already sold out. We ordered Chicken Biriyani for us. To our surprise food was served at our table within just 5 minutes. That was indeed very quick, considering the heavy rush in the shop.👍

Regarding the food, it was simply mind-blowing. Very well cooked indeed. While entering this restaurant, I had no expectations in my mind. But this was something great. We all liked the food. Loved it. ❤

The place is very crowded at all times. So if you want to taste all types of biryani, then be sure to visit here at least before 2 pm. Toilets were clean. Car parking is available for just 2-3 cars, but that's not much of an issue, as you can park the cars in the roadside itself.

Loved it. Food was not that expensive either. 👍 While exiting from the shop, I had a casual talk with the owner, then only I realised that this is the same shop which is having franchises near Ernakulam North & Kakkanad. Customer service was very nice. Giving 5 stars for this...
