Title: Wonderful Experience at Crow's Nest Restaurant, Kovalam Beach I recently had the pleasure of dining at Crow's Nest Restaurant at Kovalam Beach, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The combination of delectable food, inviting ambiance, impeccable service, and breathtaking views left a lasting impression on me. The food at Crow's Nest deserves a special mention. Every dish I tried was bursting with flavors and prepared to perfection. The menu offered a diverse range of options, catering to different palates, and the quality of ingredients was evident in every bite. The ambiance of the restaurant is both cozy and inviting. Whether you choose to sit indoors or enjoy the open-air seating, you're treated to a delightful atmosphere that complements the beachside location. The soothing sound of waves crashing against the shore only added to the overall charm. Speaking of service, the staff at Crow's Nest truly went above and beyond. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warm smiles and attentive service. The staff members were knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations. Their friendly and accommodating attitude enhanced the dining experience. And oh, the view! The restaurant's strategic location offers breathtaking panoramic views of the beach and the endless expanse of the sea. It's the perfect setting for a leisurely meal, a romantic dinner, or even a casual catch-up with friends. Lastly, what pleasantly surprised me was the affordability of the menu items. Despite offering top-notch quality in terms of food, service, and ambiance, Crow's Nest manages to keep its prices reasonable, making it accessible to a wide range of diners. In conclusion, Crow's Nest Restaurant at Kovalam Beach is a true gem. It's a place where you can indulge in delicious food, enjoy a soothing ambiance, experience exceptional service, and soak in the beauty of the surroundings without breaking the bank. I highly recommend a visit to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience by the sea. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I recently visited Crow's Nest restaurant near Kovalam Beach and, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience. While the restaurant is on the pricier side, which would be acceptable if they offered high-quality food, this wasn't the case. I ordered the prawn pollichath, but it tasted more like a meen mulakittath. The prawns were rubbery and overcooked, and the dish was overly salty. Despite this, a small portion with just 8 rubbery prawns cost over ₹500, which felt unreasonable given the poor quality. If the food matched the price in terms of taste and quality, it would have been justifiable. Make matters worse, the service was slow, with a noticeable delay in getting our food. While the restaurant is clearly focused on foreign tourists, and I understand that tourism can often come with a higher price tag, the quality of the food didn’t justify the cost. What bothers me most is that even foreign tourists, who may be paying for a taste of Kerala's traditional cuisine, are being served such subpar dishes. It makes me uncomfortable to think that these overpriced, poorly made meals could leave tourists with a bad impression of Kerala's rich and diverse food culture. Restaurants like this need to take the quality of their dishes more seriously, as it not only impacts their reputation but also how our local cuisine is perceived. The ambiance of the restaurant was quite nice, but that alone isn’t enough to make up for the overall disappointing experience. The management really needs to address these issues if they want to provide a dining experience that lives up to the cost and expectations.

Dear Mr. Vipin Raj R S, We had food at your restaurant this evening. All the four drinks that we ordered Hot Chocolate, Sunset, Pina Colada and Mixed Fruit Shake were lovely and refreshing! For the food, we ordered 5 Pomfrets off which two were made in the traditional style cooked with Banana leaf and the other three were fried with some spices that we never had tasted before. Seems like some kind of unique and secret recipe. We also ordered half a kg of prawns. They were deep fried and we really enjoyed having it. All that we ordered were worth a try would recommend all to definitely try your meal here. We were assisted by a jovial guy named Riteesh and another person who bakes and patries there and wears a cap (sorry that I couldn’t catch his name) who gave us a caramel cake on the house ❤️ Thanks a lot for such a wonderful service and food. We will definitely visit the Crow’s Nest Cafe when we visit Kovalam sometime in future.

Absolute heaven ❤️ I must say.. being born and brought in Goa, I really loved the Goan vibe I got here..🥺 Beautiful beach, and this restaurant is amazing. So, it was me and my husband and we wanted to have seafood, so we ordered a seafood platter, which cost 2k. There was a portion of rice, around 6 big prawns, one crab, a piece of fish with garlic cream sauce(I guess) and squid fry. We also ordered two extra chapati, thinking this might not be enough. But believe me, we never expected this to be so so huge and tasty. It was so so yummy, we being a great foody, this absolutely made our tummy full. We also had a beer, but I'd always suggest you to have wine instead when you have this kind of food. Once again, The Crow's Nest Cafe is an awesome place. Also, the service given is amazing, they know how to treat their customers well.. would definitely visit again, and might try other items.

A place which you would be tempted to try and you wont be disappointed either. We went there during the day at around 3/4 pm but it was closed, which is actually the case with many restaurants along side the beach. So we visited during the night and tried Mac and Cheese. Neither the food disappoint us nor the service. They have online ordering system, you scan the QR and place the order, but one you place the order do check with staff. They had masala corn in that menu, and we were about to add it, but we wanted to check how is it made and to our surprise it was not in stock but was there in the online menu to order. One thing which is a disappointment across all restaurants here is their preference for foreigners (especially during peak time). Front row beach view seats are generally reserved for them and they get preference over you in all scenarios.

I'm in disbelief how this restaurant has a 4.7 rating . The fish dish dishes that we ordered seemed like masala was just prinkeled on a pre broiled fish. They also took over 40 mins to cook. So we were pretty disappointed. The fishes weren't even de scaled well . Service wise. It seemed that the waiters were giving first preference to the lighter skinned Europeans over the people who arrived first. One of our servers just paused and hurried to serve a European as they walked in... in the middle of taking our order. It's quite shameful. I'll never come back here again. The atmosphere is probably the only positive they have with a blue lit picture of the water spirit. Message to the owner : get a better cook, and stop employing racist servers... that's so behind the times.
