Blue Lagoon Restaurant — Restaurant in Kolkata

Recently visited this restaurant after my friends cajoled me a lot and yep, this place turned out to be a hidden gem at the heart of jadavpur. The location is a bit tricky and you might have to take the local's help. Mostly frequented by college students and young couples but for me it turned out to be a great place to chill and hangout with your friends. We tried Hong kong chicken, Mixed Yeamin and Blue lagoon special gravy chowmein. Yeamin was something I tried for the first time. It's a mix between meifoon and noodles loaded with mushrooms, a lot of veggies, pork, prawn, egg and chicken. Both the yeamin and blue lagoon chowmein were yummilicious. Though the food was good, there was one particular lady, who was extremely unprofessional. She was continuously staring at us having food. Upon asking, the lame excuse that she presented was that she needs to keep an eye on her customer's need. This is an extremely unpleasant way of behaving with customers. This is a food joint. I ordered Fish ball soup and Fish Dominator Fried Rice through Zomato just now. I was completely misguided by the photo of the Fish Ball with Soup. The photo uploaded by Zomato is the authentic one that we get in Tiretti Bazaar early morning for breakfast. The reality is completely different. I have added photo , the spoon I have used is a small Teaspoon so you can understand the side . It’s not a Chinese Fish Ball soup. The taste is nowhere to the authentic dish. Just a waste of money.
