Bawarchi Restaurant - Jadavpur — Restaurant in Kolkata

Located at a 2mins walking distance from JADABPUR,8b bus stop, Bawarchi is a decent, spacious family restaurant serving wide variety of dishes. I checked into this restro a couple of days back and luckily a Sizzler Festival was going on at that time.

We started off with a really cool and amazing refreshing drink- LEMON SODA . . •STARTERS- Chicken Dragon Drums: Simply loved this appetizer where chicken wings are fried and tossed in schezwan sauce. A single plate consists of 6 pieces of piping hot dragon drums aptly cooked and with proper amount of spices. Pan Fried Chill Fish: A single plate consisting of 8 pieces of round shaped Basa fish fried and tossed in spicy schezwan sauce and garnished with red and green bell peppers was just super amazing. Each pieces of pan fried fish was too soft and delicious. Fried Squids served with Mayo: These rings of squid coated in a super crispy, crunchy shell, served with delicious mayo was the -BEST! as it was super tender yet deliciously golden and crunchy. . . •SIZZLERS- As a Sizzler Festival was going on there they offered 6 types of Sizzlers to be specific- Mixed Seafood Sizzler Crab Sizzler(Highly Recommend) Mixed Grilled Sizzler Prawn Oriental Sizzler(Highly Recommend) Pan Fried Chilli Fish Sizzler(Highly Recommend) Chicken Fajita Sizzler(Highly Recommend) All the sizzlers tasted extremely wonderful and we're served with rice tossed in buteer and herbs. . . •DRINKS- Blue Moon- The most favorite drink over here which was a combination of Blue Lagoon and Scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream. Mango Blossom- Not that much tasty and satisfying. The presentation of each and every dish was truly appreciable. The quantity of each dish was also more than satisfying. Above all the taste won my heart. Service and ambience is worth mentioning. I would prescribe this place for some astounding sustenance. The taste and the amount both will win your heart...

Located near Jadavpur 8b bus stand... I visited this restaurant twice... first day we tried their Chinese cuisine and north Indian dishes on the next day...This restaurant is ideal for family dining... Ambience is good... We ordered ::::::::::: 1.Drums of heaven-- Drum of Heaven is a one of the various methods of preparing chicken lollipop in Indo-Chinese Cuisine where the chicken lollipop is tossed in schezwan sauce. It was mouthwatering.

Pan fried chilly fish-It is a popular Indo Chinese dish. A starter is very near to my heart.

In main course we tried ::::: 1.chilly garlic mixed noodles-- These noodles taste very delicious and can be eaten as such without any side dishes.

slice chicken in hunan sauce-- It was a pleasure to taste it.

On the other day as a starter we tried :::: chicken kasturi kebab --Kabab is something always a "hit"-formula for any party . Kasturi kebab is something aromatic, beautiful, different.

chicken reshmi kebab--Reshmi kabab gets its name from the juicy succulence of the meat added to the skewers. The meat gets this texture thanks to the marinade in which it is soaked. It melts immediately with chewing.

fish tandoori -- This snack recipe is made with a thick marination of Indian spices and yoghurt and tastes super-delicious. They served it with green chutney and that turned into heavenly.

Kebab section was just brilliant and mouthwatering...

In the main course we tried:::::::: murgh ka kurchan -- Boneless chicken stripes made in tomato based gravy.

chicken tikka butter masala-- Chicken tikka masala is a dish of chunks of roasted marinated chicken. It was well prepared.

chicken biriyani -- It wasn't up to the mark ; bland in taste... The piece of chicken wasn't cooked very well... A must try family restaurant if you are in the area... Stuffs are also very helpful... Prices are...
