|| Cafe connect,a name itself defines a place where many people can connect together|| Cafe connect is an absolute gem in Kolkata. It has two outlets.one is at elgin road and another one is at Gariahat.we have visited the Elgin road outlet.this is a newly opened cafe located in Elgin road,10 minutes walking distance from Rabindra Sadan metro station.

Cafe connect just blown us away with their incredibly tasty food with adequate quantity.The decor was really amazing.and their hospitality was top notch.now come to the food~ ⭕Crispy chilli potato ⭕Crispy chilli baby corn ⭕Kaju palak ki tikki with cheese ⭕Folenten panner tikka ⭕Two types of Four topping pizza and also they served hookahs. ✓crispy chilli potato,I am a starters fan when it comes to Chinese so a must try is crispy chilli potato so good can eat it all the time. ✓crispy chilli baby corn,it was also well cooked and had nice flavours. ✓kaju palak ki tikki with cheese,a unique dish of cafe connect.It was filled with creamy cheese and coated with palak. ✓Folenten panner tikka,it was amazing ❤️.a must try dish from cafe connect.this dish was made from slices of panner.it goes very well with green chutney. ✓Four topping pizza ,the large four topping pizza was so delicious .the crusts were so perfect.they served two types of four topping pizza one combined with onion,bell paper, tomatoes,with full of cheese.another one is combined with baby corn, broccoli,baby corn etc.both were two delicious 😍 Last but not the least special chai was so refreshing.i just loved the special chai .it was amazing ❤️ In this pandemic situation,they are also maintaining all precautions and safety measures. Cafe connect is a recent addition to the list of dainty cafes in Southern Avenue. Precisely, the cafe is located at stone throwing distance from Vivekananda Park, near Kamala Girl's School. I went there to get a takeaway for my home. The interior is simple, with minimal decor. The staffs are polite, and service was quick.

Packaging was done with care, there was no spilling of food. Each item was provided in separate sturdy containers.

Coming to the food, the restaurant offers multicuisine delicacies along with an impressive variety of beverages and sisha.

I tried a few dishes from the Chinese section-

Crispy Chilly potatoes - Baby potatoes were cut in halves, batter fried and tossed in a spicy sauce along with red bell peppers. It was indeed spicy and the flavours were on point.

Chilli basil noodles (veg) - The noodles was decent in taste. It wasn't spicy at all, but had a good amount of fresh veggies which provides a nice crunch in contrast to the soft noodles.

Veg Manchurian - Although the Manchurian seemed delactable, it was a bit bland. There wasn't much spice or punch in the gravy. But quantity was satisfying.

Cafe connect is the newest addition to the cafe industry of Kolkata , located in the lanes near Hindustan park , Gariahat , this is easily accessible from both hindustan park bus stop or triangular park bus stop at Gariahat . Google map is always there for your help.

Now let's come to the menu , they serve chinese ,Indian and also continental cuisine . I ordered a few veg chinese items from their menu . Quantity and quality was just above average .

For the starters in had chilly potatoes. Baby potatoes cut in half and marinated with lots of spices and then deep fried without removing the skin . The fried skin crunch element with added to its flavours.

The main course had chilly garlic noodles, it was too spicy and the vegetables were not properly boiled which is the only negetive about the dish.

The veg manchurians also turned out to be pretty average . The portion size was definitely good.

Cost is on the higher side but They are presently giving 20% discount on all orders so it's a good time to try...
