Its a cozy cafe with a vibrant egg themed interior yet pleasing to your eyes! Located in five mins walking distance from Lake Mall. Last December we visited there for a weekday lunch. This cafe is a perfect choice for those who love low light greenery and pretty white decor! Personally loved the combination of yellow in the wall. It has cute cabin style seating area which can be perfect for a cozy date! The seating area is both indoor ( enough spacious perfect for friends and family gathering) and outdoor ( quite small but enough to accommodate a group of foodies!). Now coming to the food, it has a separate big menu for egg lovers. Apart this, from foods to drinks each and everything tasted good! Also all the dishes are moderately priced , quite value for money! We ordered- Meaty pizza ( pizza loaded with 5 types of meat ) for - 385/- ( Tasty and cheesy, a pretty good choice for meat lovers ) Baked fish Florentine- 455/- ( It tasted good but in my opinion the portion size could be a little bit better. Also if you're a spinach lover go for it!) Eggspresso special sizzler-455/- ( it was overall a good choice liked it! ) Mocktails - • Deep Blue ocean-185/- • Ginger rocksalt cooler-175/- • Mint mojito-185/- All 3 were refreshing and perfect coolers!
Overall it was a satisfying experience.Liked both the food and tranquil ambience also the service was good enough but it was a little bit delayed as it was quite empty in a weekday afternoon. Also all the staff were well behaved and prompt. They were a little bit short staffed back then so better if you visit, make some spare time. Morally, if you do love exploring cafes definitely it's a MUST TRY! Definitely...
Read moreAfter an evening walk, I decided to try out this place. A few friends recommended this place earlier, so I was excited to try them out.
As soon as I walked in, the order was taken quickly. I ordered Shakshouka and Vietnamese egg coffee. I requested the gentleman, who took my order to check if the order could be expedited as I was in a bit of a rush. He politely told me that it'd take around 15- 20 minutes to serve the Shakshouka; he also checked if he could serve the coffee first. I agreed to that.
From this point on, things went downhill. The restaurant was moderately filled but definitely not crowded. A couple walked in and occupied the table opposite to that of mine. My coffee was served as they were placing the order. after sometime, I observed that a plate of Shakshouka was served to them. Another 15 mins passed by and another waiter approached me and stated that my Shakshouka would take some more time. By then, I've already spent almost 35-40 mins in the restaurant. In my usual assertive tone I asked for the reason and what I got as an answer, made my jaw drop. Apparently, they erroneously served my Shakshouka to another table. I'm sure it got served to the couple sitting opposite to me. By then, I was exasperated and was done with this place in my mind. So I politely asked for the bill, paid for my coffee and left ( and not returning again).
What was really surprising for me, is that there was no attempt made by the restaurant stuff to right the wrong done to me. All they said was sorry ....So, all I can...
Read moreExtremely overrated in the videos and promotions people make. The food is average, not worth spending for when there are better cafes nearby, the decoration is also clumsy and not really soothing enough as expected. However, I'd still have rated it better had I not gone to the washroom before leaving. The only washroom in the building, a very claustrophobic space, had a huge closet and that closet had fungus seeping through it. Brown furry moss covered the opening slit of the closed closet almost hinting that the inside is definitely ROTTING. What's worse? There were MULTIPLE MUSHROOMS growing through the moss. And that's impossible unless there's NO HYGIENE. This is NOT a joke, what I saw was real, a whole forbidden ecosystem in a damn washroom, I'm beyond traumatized that I'd throw up whatever I ate the minute before. I've never experienced anything this horrible and it's insane how no one of the staff has ever fixed it or got the whole place sanitised. This is a CAFE is unbelievable. It was horrific and it's closeness to the person in the washroom is disgusting. Overall, I hope this reaches people that plan to go here and take this as a warning, rather change their mind and go anywhere better. As I'm writing I'm still feeling nauseous that I ate there a minute ago. If I had gone in the washroom before eating, I'd leave...
