Read moreI had one of the worst experiences at this restaurant, and I would never recommend it to anyone. We went there before leaving for Howrah Station, with some time in hand, just to have a quick meal. Unfortunately, the service was so slow and careless that we almost got late for our train. Despite ordering well in advance (Drums of Heaven, Classic Fried Rice, and Sweet & Sour Chicken), we waited for over an hour, while people who came much later than us got their food first. We kept requesting them to cancel our order as we were running out of time, but the staff kept repeating “Ma’am, two minutes,” which turned into 20 minutes and more. Finally, after forcing us to wait all that time, they said they couldn’t cancel because the entire menu was already prepared. The food itself was not worth the trouble either, the chicken didn’t even feel fresh. When we decided to leave after paying only for the Drums of Heaven, a woman staff member actually tried to stop us at the door, saying cancellation wasn’t allowed due to Durga Puja. To make it worse, she claimed the person in charge of cancellations wasn’t even present, which is ridiculous. Why does a customer need to depend on a specific person just to cancel an order? On top of that, the billing experience was completely unprofessional. Our bill was ₹345, and I gave ₹500. Instead of returning ₹155, they only gave back ₹55. If my friend hadn’t noticed, they would have happily kept the rest. Only after he pointed it out did they give the balance. The counter staff’s attitude was extremely rude, especially because we had chosen to cancel part of the order. They didn’t even provide us with a bill, saying “since you cancelled, we cannot give.” Overall, horrible service, rude staff, and dishonest billing. The way they treated customers was unacceptable and unprofessional. Never going...
