The Roof Top view was great. And it's well located. Had dinner for a family get-together, but the experience wasn't that great. In a hall already another get-together was happening and the atmosphere was quite noisy. AC was hardly working and the water was dripping on to the table. There was shortage of chairs but after a long wait the attender arranged for few more chairs for the guests. There was a nice view from the hall as one entire wall was of glass towards the terrace. Seating arrangement on the open terrace looked much appealing but it was tough for the hot climate outside. Rooftop is a very old place and among the first of its kind in the city. I feel the place has lost its charm now. The furniture and the decor of the restaurant overall is in very bad state. It is understaffed as well. The management must look at renovating the restaurant and bringing it at par with other restaurants. These days people are attracted to the ambience as well. No doubt they serve delicious food and their pizzas, sandwiches and dosas are loved by all. These dishes are still very good. This place is said to be one of the oldest Rooftop view cafe in Kolkata. It is situated in Elgin road near Rabindra Sadan Metro Station (Exide More). Lots of Bengali movies have been filmed here one of them is 22e Shrabon.

The food price is reasonable and taste is also moderate. The best thing here is their coffee you can have the taste of very authentic and home made coffee flavour, quantity of the coffee is less in respect of Price but the taste fullfil this gap.

Overall you can spend some quality time with friends, family and loved once here.
