Moreover, people coming for sending parcels can avoid the normal queue at the post office in this dedicated parcel café. There will be comfortable sitting arrangements for at least 25-30 people at a time with tables infront of them for having tea or coffee. This is one of the most exotic cafes in the city of Joy Kolkata. This is located within the GPO and is run by the POSTAL dept. itself. The entire cafe interior is decorated with stamps and other heritage staffs. The seating area is well decorated with good ergonomic sense of chair, table and other necessary arrangements. If you want to spend quality time with your loved ones in a cosy atmosphere grabbing a cup of coffee with light snacks this place os gonaa intrigue you for sure near the Dalhousie area. But, I felt some issues here as well. Firstly the cafe closes at 7 pm which is too early for the office goers. It serves a few varieties of foods like hotdogs, sandwiches etc with beverages. Food quality is not very impressive to me personally specially the tea and chicken 65 and that too may be having availability issue as we approach 6 pm. There is no attached washroom section.
