Limelight Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Kolkata

Have been visiting this place for over a year now, only because it is very close to my office. Had been an average place for me, price definitely on the higher side, average quality food, service not upto the mark, but even then i have paid a handsome amount of tips to my serving steward. But today, I ordered egg bhujiya, and upon trying, i found a nasty stench of fish on the item, which, for someone like me who do not have fish was unbearable. I requested my steward Ms. Indrani to replace the item, but unfortunately, the same item was delivered to me once again with similar odour of fish. I was forced to have my drinks without any snacks whatsoever, which absolutely killed my evening. Meanwhile, Ms. Indrani provided me the bill, and along with some other stewards told me that i will have to pay for the item whether I liked it or not. I called for the manager, but they insisted that the manager was very busy, and that they are the deciding authority. Since, I did not want to create a scene, I just paid the bill and got the hell out of there, and would definitely not visit that place till my last breathe. I would advise everyone to avoid this place not only because of my experience, but since there are other options available in dalhousie or chandni area which are much better and cheaper than this horrible...

"Outstanding Experience after visiting Lime light bar and restaurant and was blown away by the exceptional service and warm hospitality! The staff's behavior was top-notch - friendly, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic about ensuring we had a fantastic time.

Wanted to visit this place for a long time and finally did visit a few days ago. Must say that all the items that we tried were absolutely delicious. We had Seafood sizzler which had the perfect smoky flavour and the preparation was oh-so-delicious, they could have added some more veggies to it but other than that it was really good. Next item was Full chicken tandoori, which again had definitely met our expectations and is my favorite from the menu till now, and lastly we tried chicken bharta, the taste was again no doubt good and their bharta was a bit different from other's that I have tried, it had a creamy buttery feeling when you eat which is why it melts in your mouth, we paired it with roti and it tasted mouth-wateringly delicious.
