120/- for two small chunks of chicken and a little too insignificant piece of a potato is not only overpriced but unfair and a robbery of one sort. The food was cold and the chicken smelt fleshy. Rice is 20/-. However, the quantity is poor, and, disapointingly, they charge you extra bucks for each time you ask for extra rice. It may not be striking to some, but given there are places in Jadavpur itself who do not charge money for extra rice, it is again unfair and robbery. Too rude an owner. He literally screamed at his friend while there were people still dinning. Not impressed. The place could have been maintained better. Honestly speaking, won't be coming back. If possible, for a rating, I would have given The Chef half a star on Google.

Taste and quality of food is not bad. But a bit costly. But often you will find that 'Sarshe-Pabda' tastes bitter. Probably, the Cook has burnt the mustard while cooking. But remember if you order 2/3 plates of many items for parcel, (like rice, sukto, mutton, fish, dal, mixed veg etc. which most Bengalis do) be sure that they will CHEAT you by not giving one item or one plate or one piece. This is purely intentional. The same thing happened with me thrice. Sometimes one may not be in a position to go back to the shop keeping in mind the distance or shortage of time. Hello foodies once again we are back with another pocket friendly restaurant find ,and it's in 8B bus-stand Jadavpur. They have Chinese and Bengali cuisine foods.

Their Bengali regular dishes are just soulful,one can never deny their various fish curry items.

The price is moderate and pocket friendly.They have two separate rooms for eating AC & NON AC. AC one is super cozy and give you more privacy.

Staff behaviour is very polite,they will suggest you the best dishes available if you get confused to choose.

They have some good Chinese starters and Bengali Dishes are must try .

If you visit once, this will become your day to day hangout place, believe me.
