A Slice of Hyderabad in Pune – A Must Visit! Visited Ancient Hyderabad recently and had an absolutely delightful experience. We ordered Masala Papad, Chicken Tandoori, and their Special Chicken Dum Biryani — and I must say, the taste truly took me back to the streets of Hyderabad!

The biryani stood out the most. Unlike the ones commonly served in Pune, this dish was packed with authentic Hyderabadi flavors. Each grain of rice was infused with spices, and the aroma itself was enough to make me crave more. The chicken was perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor — every bite was pure joy!

The tandoori was good too, though a more commonly found taste. Still, it complemented the meal well.

Service was excellent — from the manager to the waiters, everyone was polite, proactive, and well-informed. They served everything on time, explained the dishes clearly, and ensured we had a comfortable experience.

The ambience is cozy and thoughtfully done with dim lights, soft background music, and a theme that celebrates Hyderabad's culture, places, and language.

And the best part? The whole meal cost just ₹860, which is truly value for money considering the taste and experience.

The food here is not fit for consumption and the meat is not at all hyegenic. We have ordered biryani multiple times from here and each time me and my wife suffered from upset stomach and food poisioning. We did not complain earlier as we thought it might be related to some other food. But now we can confirm that biryani from Ancient Hyderabad is not at all healthy and fit for consumption. Please do not eat here if you care for your health. You will suffer with diarrhoea next day for sure. PS:- We ordered from zomato and swiggy and we can share the order IDs as well.

Update to the owner's comment:- First of all, your english gave me a heart attack. Using expensive India gate rice does not mean your food is tasty and hyegenic. Focus on your dishes/hyegine more, rather than their rates. Also, our kitchens are bigger than your house's bedroom. Maybe you have not seen a good kitchen. I...

I had the pleasure of dining at Ancient Hyderabad Hinjawadi, and it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting ambiance set the tone for a wonderful meal.

The menu offers a fantastic variety of dishes, catering to all tastes. I ordered chicken tikka, garlic naan, chicken masala, masala papad and each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavour.

The staff was courteous and attentive, providing excellent service throughout the meal.
