The marriott hinjewadi is one of the best properties I have stayed in thanks to the staff. We are gold members of marriott and used all categories of the brand across the world and this has got to be the best Courtyard. The staff makes all the difference. We stayed for 7 nights in a large group for a swimming national championship. In detail
Booking process: abhishek the sales manager was extremely cooperative. Being at a national event we had many small small requests for the young athletes on food etc all of which were very nicely accepted and executed. We were worried that being a business hotel it would not be able to cater to our needs but abhishek not only ensured everything he committed was delivered but that is was delivered in perfection
Check in: the ever smiling sagar at the front desk was always ready with a smile and at some point we even asked him if he ever went home or off duty ! There was a younger lady as well who was very so helpful
Stay: housekeeping was superlative. We had races twice a day and kids needed to nap at odd times so we would ask for rooms Servicing at specific times in the morning and despite full occupancy it was always done
Gym: the trainer very nice and location overlooking the pool
Food and cafe Momo: a week of eating in the same place one would think we would be fed up. Au contraire the buffet and a la carte both were fabulous. The executive chef Anirudh and his team including chef Prashant were always around. Yogesh and Pankaj and the team of service staff like Santosh made eating a buffet feel like a fine dining experience. From the a la carte menu the sandwiches burgers, Kheema Pau and nasi goreng are fabulous. Missing some names but all the orange clothed team is great and they need to get a special thank to the wonderful service. No matter what time of the Day and how wierd the request they delivered with a smile
The hotel was at 100 pct occupancy but we are walking away with 100 pct satisfaction thanks to the 100 pct effort made by the staff.
Take a bow marriott ! We...
Read moreWe had booked a king size bed in Courtyard by Marriott to celebrate our anniversary but I have to say the whole experience turned out to be highly disappointing. Firstly, we wanted to stay in a room which has a nice view. But when we reached there they told us that 3-4th floors are book for BCCI guests and hence we can only give you room in 1st floor(not even on the second floor for unknown reasons). We requested them a little bit but since they said they have nothing available not even on the second floor, we had to go with the what we got. Also, it took them an hour to setup the room and since the check in time was already late(check in time was 3 PM), it almost was evening that we got our room. Now even though the room was king size bed, it didn’t have a bathtub which we really needed and when we asked for it they said that its only available in the suits. We asked if we can pay and get it they said that it wasn’t available. Now came the dinner which was strictly average in taste but since we had already paid for breakfast, lunch and dinner we had to have the dinner at the hotel but to my utter surprise, I saw hair in the panner makhani. I was disgusted and already thinking about the next 2 days I had to stay there. Then came the next day’s breakfast and again I found strand of hair in sausages as well as in the noodles. It was really disgusting. My main problem is even though courtyard falls below in the Marriott hierarchy, the charges are still on par with other premium hotels and the service is strictly average. The rooms are pretty small too for such high charges. Also nowadays all the big hotels have bath tub but this one doesn’t. Also dont go by the pics online as the location of the hotel is right in the middle of the traffic and buildings. My advice is if you are looking for a premium experience, go for Conrad or may be JW but not to Courtyard. You will be highly...
Read moreThis is my experience at a Wedding food festival at Momo Cafe-the indoor restaurant of Courtyard by Marriott.
Weddings are known for Masti,Maahol & most importantly their Food.I got an invite from Courtyard by Marriott for their ' SHUBH VIVAH ' festival, for which I was quite excited.
Shubh Vivah was going to be a 7 day festival with 7 different Indian cuisines everyday. There would be a glimpse of Punjabi,Gujarati,Marathi,Bengali,Rajasthani,Kashmiri & Lucknowi culture & food.
There was a big decorated gate at the entrance of Momo Cafe.As soon as I entered heard the sound of Shehnai which gave the proper wedding feel.
There were waiters dressed in traditional attire.Tables were decorated & waiting for their guests.
Coming to food, there were buffet counters serving starters, main course & desserts.
Soon, we were welcomed with a Rose & Pineapple Drink which was perfect for a wedding Maahol.
STARTERS-: There were Chaats,Kebabs & other international cuisine starters.Unlike the most reputed restaurants, their Chaats were actually chatpati.Pani Puri,Dahi Puri & Papdi Chaat tasted like proper Street Food. There were several kebabs & tikkas including Paneer Tikka,Paneer Satay & Rajma ki Gilawat. Apart from these there were Non Veg Starters( which I did not try 😛) Also there were Mexican,Italian & Mediterranean dishes on other side of the hallway.
MAIN COURSE-: Indian Delicacies starting from Bagara Baingan, Bhindi Do Pyaaza, Jodhpuri Paneer Masala,Makai Gatta Nu Shaak, Kashmiri Barista Pulao were presented representing specialities of several cuisine. Also there was TAWA Sabzi which reminded me of marriages in my hometown.
DESSERT-: Apart from Indian desserts like Mawa Barfi,Coconut Barfi,Jalebi with Rabri there were cakes, pastries, cupcakes & ice-cream.
👉Other than the bride & the groom nothing was missing and everything was up full of...
