VIVANTA AND F&B FARE @ BUZZ

There has been a very frenzied agenda for quite some time chiefly exhaustive 4 weeks India’s expedition and I was off Buffets and Festive Proceedings but since today I was engaged doing some specialized work close to Hinjewadi, I decided to visit one of my preferred restaurants.… Buzz @ Vivanta.

My entrance was straight away well supported by Hotel Valet and the vehicle was taken care of. The moment I entered its Lobby, I had an opportunity to meet Mr. Mhatra, (GM) followed by Mr. Prakash (FBM).

Buzz @ Vivanta is undoubtedly one of the best outlets, the city of Pune could propose.  The buffet spread is brilliant and you have a chance to take pleasure in ‘fine dining’ in a restaurant that has simple yet classy interiors, restful and relaxing sitting with abundance of natural light during day time, adequate covers well maintained by expert production and proficient and responsive service team.  Though not good for the hotel but I did love the calm and composed atmosphere as guests were almost not in presence. Perceptibly, in this sweltering weather, examination fever and the working day, you cannot anticipate chaotic attendance.

Well… the meal initiated!

The starters were astonishing and amazing that were well spiced, cooked so very tenderly that the original taste and flavour had remained together. They were juicy and crispy. Salads simple and compound were fresh and crunchy and paired well with tangy sauces and accompaniments. Main Course items were likewise magnificent.

And the show stealer…

One may continue to prove that Carabao or Mango Manila is the sweetest in the world and though I have already tried Miyazaki (2.5 lakh per kg), the most expensive variety, I do feel pleased to announce that to me Hapus is the most loveable of all varieties of the world. In this very season while I am privileged to have 6 pieces every day, it was indeed a pleasure to have Hapus well plated and presented by Chef Vikhyat. And I did ask for Dollops of Mango and Vanilla too with it. Regrettably, Mango wasn’t the correct choice as it had highly-flavoured essence and was not very pleasant on palette.

But I did love Hapus and certainly Cream Vanilla.

The meal ultimately had concluded with Cold Coffee that was indeed immense. I really loved it.

And once more I would say… as always, the entire Production Team and Service Team were genuinely considerate and conscientious. They all knew what they were doing and what they were talking about.

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Executive Chef Sanjay, Chef Vikhyat, Sagar and Ajinkya for the admirable and outstanding preparations. And while food is prepared with great interest and enthusiasm, it is served with enormous skills and promptness by the Service Team. My special thanks to Mr. Prakash (F&B Manager), Gaurav (RM) and his team mates especially Samarth, Saurabh, Swapnil and Sarifa.

It was, yet again, definitely an experience to be remembered. Looking forward to be back to have repetitive pleasing gastronomic...

Check-in: If you've a vehicle, do note that you've a complimentary valet parking. The check-in was relatively quick. We handed over the car to the valet parking staff. They got our luggage quickly from the car and by the time we completed the check-in procedure, the bellhop was ready with our luggage to go to our allotted room. One thing to highlight here was that we requested for a non-smoking room and the front desk person was generous enough to upgrade our booking from deluxe to executive as non-smoking room was only available in executive. No welcome drinks though. Stay: All basic amenities were available which are generally available in any five star hotel. Room was neat and clean but we did find traces of previous user like watermelon seeds under the sofa and the TV remotes were randomly placed instead of being in a dedicated place. So need some improvement on that. And there were small lights attached to the bed out of which one was broken and the other was non-functional. The view from the room was not that great even though we were on the 4th floor probably because of the hotel being located in the city but the view on the terrace floor was nice (near vandaag restaurant). There was a swimming pool, a gym and spa along with vandaag restaurant. Also, there was one table tennis and one carrom board for playing games. A couple of more boards can be added. One can find D-Mart, Reliance Bazaar and E-Square elite screens in a mall that is located right next to the hotel. Food: We didn't get to try dinner as they don't have a package with dinner and had to be paid separately. It would be great if these packages can be added to the existing ones. We had our breakfast though (part of the package we opted for) which is served by Buzz restaurant on the ground floor. Quite a few options were available and we tasted most of them. But one can notice that all the dishes are very less spicy (below normal for a generic Indian). Felt like the food was made bearing foreigners in mind as well. And we also some mosquitos in the restaurant trying to have their breakfast 😂. We didn't find the waiters in the restaurant to be enthusiastic or eager to help. Check-out: Unfortunately, we slept off post breakfast and couldn't wake up by check-out time. One might say that you've set alarm, etc. but most of the hotels give you a call atleast 30min before check-out but that didn't happen here and we only got a call at 12pm. Anyways, the front desk was generous enough to extend our stay by a hour and we quickly checked out.

Overall, a five star hotel with a generous and friendly frontdesk. Rooms can be cleaned better. Waiters at the Buzz restaurant can be more helpful. Suggestion: Please call atleast 30min before check-out. That way, you don't have to offer anything or the visitors need not feel...

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Vivanta Hinjawadi Pune, and I must say – the experience was nothing short of outstanding. Every aspect of the stay reflected thoughtfulness, warmth, and attention to detail, making it one of the most satisfying hotel experiences I’ve had in recent times.

⸻

🛏️ Rooms & Housekeeping: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The room was immaculate, with spotless housekeeping and premium linen quality that elevated the sense of comfort and luxury. Amenities were well-stocked and thoughtfully placed, with every convenience—from plush bedding to intuitive lighting and work-friendly layout—carefully considered. Housekeeping was consistent and meticulous, including turndown service done with care.

⸻

🍽️ Food & Beverage at Mynt: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The culinary highlight of my stay was undoubtedly Mint, the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant. The menu offered an exceptional spread of both regional and global cuisine, with impeccable flavor, freshness, and presentation. The live counters during breakfast and dinner added a vibrant and interactive touch, enhancing the overall experience.

⸻

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Service & Hospitality: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Vivanta Hinjawadi truly stands out for its warm, guest-focused, and genuinely caring team. The hospitality across departments was heartfelt and personalized.

Special thanks to: • Pawan – for his seamless coordination and ever-helpful attitude. • Sagar – for his courteous service and engaging approach that made meals enjoyable. • Yogesh – whose attentive and composed service ensured a smooth dining experience every time. • Suryakant (F&B Supervisor) – for his hands-on presence, consistently ensuring that guests were well looked after. • Namdev Mahale (F&B Manager) – whose leadership is clearly reflected in the polished, well-trained team. His attention to detail and guest-centric mindset are commendable and help set a high standard across the F&B operation.

⸻

🏋️ Facilities & Fitness: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The gym was exceptionally well-equipped, with a clean and inviting environment for fitness enthusiasts. Whether you’re into cardio or strength training, the range of equipment available was impressive and very well maintained.

⸻

🏨 Design & Aesthetics: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The property boasts contemporary interiors and elegant aesthetics that strike a perfect balance between sophistication and comfort. The use of textures, art, and lighting throughout the hotel creates an inviting ambiance. Mint, in particular, shines with its modern yet warm design and thoughtful spatial planning.

⸻

✅ Overall Rating: 5/5 – Highly Recommended

Vivanta Hinjawadi Pune is a perfect blend of luxury, functionality, and genuine hospitality. From the stylish rooms and fantastic food to the warmth of the team, every element has been...

True to its name, the restaurant is all set to make patron experience the delicacy of Asian food. I visited this place for a Chinese food festival and I can't get enough of it. The moment I stepped in the restaurant, I felt I have been transported to a royal cottage. The red pendant light and gloomy dusky walls made it look so surreal. As I moved further, I saw a gigantic bar which had a huge collection of drinks and probably this was a picture-perfect place. Now let's come to my experience for food. I am not a Chinese food lover but when I stepped out of the restaurant my opinion was changed. I have never ever experienced such an authentic taste. I started with the triangular dim sum the filling had water chestnut, green beans and baby corn dumpling made it taste so good. Next I had stir fried lotus stem - this dish tops the chart for me. If you are going here. Don't miss it. It was served along with chilli dip which made it so delicious. Spring roll - this was different from the regular ones and this spring roll will definitely give you the feel of authentic Chinese food.It had a filling of taro, sweet potatoes, snow pea, black fungus and mung bean noodles. Tofu, Shimeji and shitake - I had always known tofu as the hardest form of paneer until I tried it. It was so soft that it melted in my mouth as soon as I had it. Mushroom dark soya sauce was a cherry on the top. I had this with Shanghai noodles dipped in wok tossed vegetable noddle and burnt garlic vegetable Cantonese fried rice . At last, I had pandan sago, an unusual dessert with a flavour of coconut tender with vanilla ice cream. Final verdict. Ambience -4/5 Service -4.5/5 Hospitality- 5/5 Food -4/5 Concept -4.5/5
