Visited the Haldiram Fast Food Outlet with family for evening snacks and had quite a disappointing experience overall.
Food Ordered:
Dahi Samosa
Pani Puri
Raj Kachori
Combo Dish (Corn palak Sandwich, Sev Puri & French Fries)
Experience:
Ordering & Billing – 2/5 Had to stand in a queue for around 10 minutes just to place the order. When I finally placed it, I was informed after paying that bhalla wasn’t available in the Raj Kachori, and they had substituted it with moong dal – without prior notice. That was disappointing. Even the water bottle was overpriced for the quantity.
Food Quality & Quantity – 2/5
Raj Kachori: Poor in quality and taste. Only the dahi and chutney were decent. Quantity was very less.
Dahi Samosa: Small samosa, very little dahi, and overly spicy – lacked balance.
Combo Dish: This was the most disappointing. At ₹260, it had just two pieces of sev puri, about 10-15 fries, and a corn palak sandwich (the only good part of the combo). Not at all value for money.
Pani Puri: A big letdown. Served only 6 puris for ₹99 – all of which had holes and couldn’t be eaten properly. I had to drink the pani instead of eating it like normal pani puri. When I complained, they replaced only one puri, which also had holes!
Ambience – 2.5/5 Ambience is average – the outlet was too crowded, noisy, and lacked the comfortable feel you’d expect at the price they charge. Service was slow and uncoordinated.
Value for Money – 1.5/5 Extremely overpriced for the portions and quality served. Felt more like a high-cost self-service cafeteria than a premium food outlet.
Overall: Not Recommended The brand name raised expectations, but the actual experience was far from satisfying. Poor service, average taste, small quantities, and high prices make it a place I wouldn’t visit again for snacks. Needs serious improvement in value, communication, and...
Read moreSince from Nagpur, when they started at Sitaburdi we are used to Haldiram outlets one of the best ones they were. This was my 3rd time at wakad, 1st time I thought its new setup here may be that's why it will take time to serve good tastey food. But actually they have lost their quality. Mumbai Pav bhaji yesterday was like full of ginger garlic paste. Extra pav that we ordered were not at all marinated properly, we think may be it was canceled from some previous guest. Butter was not applied properly to it, nor did they roasted it properly. Try Choola alu tikki also, it's also very strong aroma. Pani puri there was time they were masters in that, now it's worst pani puri we had there. See just looking at it's big brand doesn't makes any sense, ambiance, service are all not counted, if they serve tasteless. I know you people will not belive me, so next time when you visit just see the taste properly, you will find it wate of time,...
Read moreThis place has just vegetarian food which is my favourite part. It also has few jain options but i think they can do better there, can have more jain options. The have indoor dinning which is kind of not very big but nicely small organized area. They have wide spread of sweets, namkins , gift packages also available sometimes. I would like to comment nowadays most of haldiram namkins are made in palm oil whicb theh ahould improve. The mithais here are good, lot of options available in packaged and fresh. The cost of food here is reasonable for the hygiene, quality of food they provide. There is good parking space right infront of shop for both 2 wheelers and 4 wheelers. On special occasions they have occasional sweets like during Ganpati festival, they had various kind of packaged modaks. During Diwali they have more different kind of sweets. They also have pastries and all of...
