Café Coffee Day — Restaurant in Meghalaya

This is not my first worst experience at this store. CCD is known for serving the best coffees around the country with this location as exception. So this time I ordered for a "Devils Own" and what was served to me was just cold coffee with whipped cream, it did not have coffee beans or anything which is mentioned in the menu card. When I asked them about the coffee beans they asked me if I want it? I mean seriously? I placed the particular order because it had all those ingredients mentioned, it doesn't come as an option after you pay almost 300 for a single drink. After being said yes they replied that they don't have coffee beans anymore in the inventory..Why wasn't this communicated to the customer at first and this is not the first time it has happened. In the name of of fancy drink they are serving the customer some stupid simple drink and are charging are bomb for the same. This is completely misleading the customer. And the worst is yet to come,they served the order on disposable cups instead of glasses and the justification for it was they thought it was a take out..whereas it was a dine in and they just assumed it because it was easy for them, secondly they gave me a hand written bill..I mean what on earth? I'm sure this is kind of act is definitely gonna hurt the reputation of CCD at large. Completely disappointed.Never...

A delightful spot for coffee enthusiasts, maintaining the expected brand value. The staff was attentive, contributing to a positive experience.

However, the shop's opening at 10 am didn't align with its readiness, as cleaning activities were underway during those hours.

The cappuccino and latte, while bitter, could benefit from a switch to freshly medium-roasted coffee beans instead of dark roast. Unfortunately, no latte art was present.

The croissants was tasty and full of crispiness. It would be great to see an expanded variety of croissants and cookies on the menu that complement coffee.

Additionally, introducing drinking water service would enhance the overall customer experience. Despite these points, Cafe Coffee Day in Shillong remains a decent choice for...

A loved one ordered a cake for a special occasion, and while the flavor was decent, the icing work was shockingly bad. I’m genuinely surprised this passed any kind of quality check. The message on the cake looked like it was written in a rush by someone holding the piping bag for the first time, uneven, messy, and barely legible. “HBD MY PRINCESS” turned into a cryptic puzzle we had to decode.
