Oriental Restaurant cum Bar — Restaurant in Meghalaya

Disclaimer: you want to Booze and that too in Shillong's Police Bazar and that again in a pocket friendly place than read this.

Pricing: Normal when compared to other places nearby ( I haven't visited other places but that's what Google reviews said. Also I was running on low cash as it was my departure day and Also Common sense says Boozing in any pub will be expensive. Why I visited- because I just wanted to experience how it feels).

System - Peg System and beers (prices are high as compared to store)

Environment: If you are coming in a group of boys or alone there won't be any issues.

Also if you are accompanied by your wife or Girlfriend BE VERY ASSURED it's COMPLETELY SAFE. MEGHALAYA is a Women's dominated place. Hence just relax. What's annoying is there is too much hustle and bustle

Food Prices - You can get better tasting food at the same price outside. ( Recommended -Kim Pou Chinese Banquet or road side stalls for biryani and Chicken/ pork grill sticks).

A conspicuous corner, a red lamp, glossy paint and sturdy furniture, a happy guy tends to your calls while you whisk away one drink after the other. The vibe is casual not in the sense of a lounge but perhaps, in the way you are comfortable in a normal Indian street. The booze is reasonable, food is good. The ambience is just what you need to go out with friends on a casual day out without the fuss of a courtesy or the superficial tantrums of the well-off.
