While there was no waiting time during my visit, expanding the shop to accommodate more customers could enhance the overall experience.

I was pleased to find they sell coffee beans, but it would be beneficial to offer smaller pouches in addition to the 1kg option.

Introducing a variety of croissants and cookies to complement their excellent coffee would be a welcome addition.

Lastly, adding the service of drinking water would further contribute to a complete and satisfying customer experience.

My visit to Smoky Falls Tribe Coffee was underwhelming. They didn’t have iced coffees or several other menu items available, which seems to be a common issue in Shillong. It makes you wonder why places have extensive menus if they can’t deliver on half the options.

On recommendation, we tried the Flat White, which was just okay, and a Laminton, which was also mediocre. Neither stood out, and the overall experience lacked any spark.

The cafe was being run by just one person taking and serving orders, and the vibe didn’t reflect a passion for running the place. Compared to other cafes in Shillong, this one fell short in both service and ambiance.

If you’re absolutely desperate for freshly brewed coffee and can’t find another option, you might consider stopping by. Otherwise, I’d suggest exploring other cafes...

Paid cash and the guy gives no receipt after requesting, and further questioning. Almost certainly some type of tax fraud. Or he's pocketing the cash and screwing the proprietor. Stay away from this black money business. Plus no credit card accepted. One star.

And if you don't believe me, send a friend or relative, order a take home package of coffee and see if your trusted employee gives you a receipt.!! The only businesses i know that don't are that are those that understate...
