SPENTA RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Mira-Bhayander

A restaurant located exactly opposite Rassaz Cinema; which can be categorised as a prime location in Mira Road. When you enter the restaurant, due to the atmosphere around, you know that you'd get good mughlai food here. The place is fairly big. There are both Semi-Outdoor Non-AC section and an Indoor AC section. The outdoor section is wide and open, while the indoor section being cozy and comfortable comprises of smaller rooms on the ground and the 1st floor. I preferred the indoor one. The service is fairly quick and the waiters were of good behavior. I felt that one of the waiter was a little amateur in his waitering skills, but this isn't an everyday thing so I'll just let go of it. The restaurant serves mineral water without asking you, so you'd have to be a little careful before opening the bottle if you're on a budget. Food as I mentioned earlier was really good as far as the mughlai cuisine is concerned. I especially liked the Biriyani. The Munchow Soup that I tried (the only Chinese dish in my meal) was below-par. It had overpowering taste of ginger and although I ordered a veg soup, it had a hinting smell of non-veg to it. So I can say that this isn't a place to have Vegetarian food. The prices considering the ambience and food are quite affordable I'd say. Well the food is good.. service is mediocre at best.. i have no complains about the food honestly, but just never go in the AC room.. if u can't go in the AC room and they don't allow u to sit in the party room which they mostly do.. just do yourself a favour and go outside.. why u may ask? Well the AC room almost always smells rancid.. and don't even get me started with the flies.. plus i don't think they wash the utensils with dishwashing soap properly.. as i sometimes notice small things on the glasses( not finger prints but something colored.. as though it could be pieces of food..) forks and spoons feel a bit oily as well sometimes.. apart from that nothing really is the problem. But it really smells in the AC room.. don't even feel like eating cuz of the smell.. and they need to invest money in a fly swatter just 250/- and it could eliminate flies.. and as u know flies sitting on food is no joke.. it say on mine more times than i...

My recent visit to spenta was overshadowed by a significant inconvenience: water leakage from the air conditioning unit directly above our table. Upon being seated, we noticed the table was wet, and it became evident that the source was a leaking AC unit. Despite bringing this issue to the attention of the staff, no alternative seating arrangements were offered.

The constant drip of water not only made our dining experience uncomfortable but also raised concerns about hygiene and safety. It was disappointing that the staff did not take immediate action to address the issue or offer us a dry and more suitable seating option.
