I was looking for a venue for a lazy brunch, and Zomato suggested Bora Bora. I had been there before, quite a while ago, and with a review pending I thought why not, so here goes. I reached to find out that the AC section was closed for renovation, and was given a table outside. The overhead fans were quite efficient, and it wasn't too warm so the lack of AC wasn't an issue for me. I chose the alcoholic menu for their Sunday brunch, and started off with Long Island Iced Tea, Tempura Prawns and Mini Angry Bird. The drink was the first to be served, it was properly chilled, though a little on the sweeter side. Soon the prawns arrived, served fried with mayo and chutney. They weren't too oily, and the chutney went really well with the prawns. Up next was Mini Angry Bird, a veg pizza. Thin crust with tons of cheese, reasonable lot of toppings, a few olives, peppers and capsicum, I enjoyed every bite of it, most recommended, especially for vegetarians. Browsing through the menu the starters seemed really interesting so I decided to stick those and skip the main course. My next order was Chicken Chilly Tacos and Top Secret Malai Kebab, and my next drink was Blenders Pride. The tacos were particularly impressive, spicy meat on toasted bread with cheese, they were an absolute winner. The kebabs weren't too bad either, the meat was tender and though the name said Malai, there was some spice to it, which I didn't mind at all. This was followed by Wild Fish Fingers, strips of basa with a crunchy crust, I found it to be average, have had better elsewhere. With my tummy filling up, I drained my final round of whiskey, and ordered desserts. First up was a platter of pastries, in 3 flavours. The orange pastries were nothing to write about, the red velvet was a little above average, while the kiwi was the by far the best. Next I had some icecream, Vanilla and Strawberry scoops put together and it was delicious, I was tempted to go for another round, but then I was suggested Gulab Jamun by the staff so I opted for that, and what a suggestion it was. The gulab jamuns were soft, sweet and simply superb, a must-have here. Speaking of the staff, I must mention the attendant to my table, Angam. He was most polite, helpful, always with a smile, a big shoutout to his stellar service. With the desserts done, I asked for the cheque to conclude what had been a truly fulfilling meal. To sum up then, Bora Bora offers an excellent brunch, ticks most of the boxes, be it food or drinks or hospitality, there's little to complain. And all that quality comes at a fixed non-exorbitant price, making it fantastic value for money.

Ambience -5/5 Service -4/5 Drinks-5/5 Food -4.5 / 5 Bora bora duty free is a restaurant alert located at Waterfield road Bandra.Just opened its doors for public on 16th Dec 2019.This place has a unique name as they sell alchohol at Duty free rates.Cool concept of open burgers & pizza kitchen, live sushis bar .They have shopping mall kinda concept where i swipe your card at counter and place your order for a dish Staff service is quick and polite.David ensured that i had a good experience at the restaurant.Interiors are eye catchy.Bora bora has outdoor non-a-c section which is kinda smoking zone and then they have indoor a-c section where they have Dj playing groovy music. They mainly serve Asian cuisine . Coming to variety of dishes i tried here Drinks I tried their Orange frozen and Dragon tale from mocktails.Dragon tale was a nice looking and try worthy refreshing drink. It had fresh dragon fruit puree ,fresh cream with hint of coconut.Apart from mocktails they have impressive list of cocktails and straight drinks to try from.Sraight drinks here are available at very competitive rates .(almost at duty free rates) which is really impressive Starters Veg -I tried their signature jalapeno pepper cottage cheese .Its served with their inhouse dips .A good way to begin at Bora bora Duty free Rice I tried their Edamame fried rice served with spicy cottage cheese sauce .Decent preparation and quite filling Pizza I tried their Veg pizza verdure -A medium crust well prepared pizza with veggies & black olive topping.Must try at the restaurant.Highly recommended Sushi They have live sushi bar counter at restaurant.I tried their Veg Avacado maki sushi .Served in 6 piece portion.Decent preparation. But still i feel there is littel scope of improvement in Sushi Dumpling I tried their mix green dumpling.Served warm with their dips.Had good veggies stuffing Crunchy nuts -I tried their Wild mushroom crunchy nuts.Treat for mushroom lovers.Simply loved this dish Its quite filling.Easily serves 3 people i would say Overall i had a great time at Bora Bora A good place to enjoy and have fun with friends/family Check it out when near Bandra

Bora Bora has come back with a rooftop dining experience on Waterfield Road in Bandra West. It s known as a famous gastropub and for giving the best casual dining experience. It is easily accessible by auto from Bandra railway station. We had -Redbull and Watermelon- This is a redbull and watermelon based Mocktail served in a tall glass with amazing presentation with the help of mint leaves and watermelon chopped pieces. It is good in taste and looks awesome in terms of presentation. Overall a nice drink to choose from their Mocktail menu. -Current Affair- This had a pineapple and bit of a fruity essence. You can call it a sweeter version of fruit punch or pina colada. It was served in a tall glass and tasted very good. The texture was a bit thick so it served as a filling drink as well. Overall a very good drink to have from their drinks menu. -Jalepeno Pepper Cottage Cheese- This was an appetiser with diced veggies, paneer and jalapeños tossed in black pepper and hot sauce. When served hot, the spiciness of the black pepper and Jalepeno will hit you. This appetiser is recommended only for those who can handle spice. Overall it was a good appetiser in terms of taste and presentation. -BBQ Spicy Chicken Drumsticks- Leg pieces of chicken cooked and chargrilled in BBQ sauce. It was told to make very mild on our request, but if you tolerate spice well, you may enjoy it with a hint of spicy taste as well. The chicken was juicy and tasted fresh and good. Chicken lovers shouldn’t miss this here for sure. Overall a good dish from their non veg appetisers menu. -Pizza Verdure- A thin crust pizza with all the major veggies topping. What was peculiar was the salad in the middle of the pizza piled up into a mountain. The salad was very disappointing as it was very sour. Hope the management considered this suggestion. Apart from this, the pizza tasted very good and filling with toppings like Jalepeno, tomato, onion, olives and mozzarella cheese.
