Cinnabon — Restaurant in Mumbai

Negatives:

1. Waiting queue - A bit of time to get your turn to order (which triggers a domino effect to the other points)
2. Card payment system was down - This form of payment should always be an option. And connectivity should be fast enough to ensure prompt service to customers and effectively clearing up the queue
3. Not enough change from the cashier - If card payment was not available, it makes natural sense to perhaps pay by cash. However, the cashier did not have enough change even if the change was only below Rs. 100.
4. Unavailable dining - all tables are occupied, even the sharing one. Understably because of the bottleneck of orders. Dining customers accumulate while the waiting queue continues to percolate. Meanwhile, diners need to create another queue even beyond the store premises.
5. Order takes time - Time management and work allocation are key given that there are enough personnel at the shop. I witnessed that my coffee was brewed only several minutes later, after my order was taken even if the coffee machine was completely available and there were people around who could have taken the task.
6. Cramped seating - There must be a way to design the shop in such a way that dining space for customers can be maximized (even in a petite shop). Customer flow and traffic is just not proper. Even the huge trash bin was blocking the way for customers to get into the table at the side of the store.
7. Cleanliness was not maintained - The tables have empty plates, cups and trays. There were also some spilled food on the floor together with a dirty wooden spoon. I don't think that lack of personnel was the issue. One suggestion is to implement a CLAYGO policy for dining - simply Clean As You Go! Customers always appreciate a clean dining and people will co-operate. I just did my part in my last visit. And I noticed that the other customer after me did the same thing when they left.
8. Chocobon - this part is perhaps the subjective part. I prefer the original Cinnabon over the one with choco. The choco overpowered the flavor of the roll. The chocolate syrup was a bit diluted as well.

Positive: The coffee was really served hot...

Well i wanted to see what all the hype was and boy was I disappointed. So we decide to get some coffee here and order the Berry something minibon and pepperoni pretzel 🥨 along with an Ice cold mocha. The server hands us the minibon but it doesn't look anything like the one they had in the display. She says if they add chocolate to the minibon it will look exactly the same and we agreed. She added chocolate and charged us 50 bucks more for a minibon that they falsely advertised as costing 99 bucks. In the ad the minibon had chocolate on it so I guess we should have focussed on the fine print like you do when taking an insurance. Sigh!

Then we get the pepperoni pretzel which I have to say is also pretty bad. I'm talking about the whole concept of a pretzel. It may look like the infinity sign, but why exactly do pretzels exist. Thus taste like pizza ends, the ones i don't like eating anyways so the concept of a pretzel itself irked me out. On top of that crooks that they are, the server asks us what dip we'd like. We choose the salsa dip and they charge us 50 bucks for that as well. They should only serve dips which they make a Pretty good margin Skip this place for visit...

Cinnabon offers an array of delectable treats, from their mouthwatering Cinnabons to tasty pretzels. The food is undoubtedly the highlight here, earning my praise and three stars.

However, my visit was tinged with a few disappointments. The coffee left much to be desired and didn't match up to the quality of their other offerings. The seating area felt cramped and congested, making it less than ideal for a comfortable experience.

Additionally, the staff appeared overwhelmed during weekends, indicating a need for better training to handle the rush efficiently. Despite these downsides, the allure of their delicious treats keeps me coming back.
