Curry Twist — Restaurant in Mumbai

So, if you want to RUIN your celebration, you can choose this place. We made our reservations for Sunday lunch on Friday, well in advance. When we reached at our designated time, they said we have no booking. We lucky had a recording which proved our booking was done by a person named "Pinto". When we spoke to Pinto about it, he was extremely rude, and upon producing the proof, he got even more aggressive. He said you should co-operate, be flexible and accept whatever I am giving you - not the kind of Hospitality you expect, when you had done the booking well in advance. Unfortunately, we didn't have any other option so we had to take the two separate tables he was so "graciously" offering us. Upon taking our orders, the staff convenienintly forgot ONE of our orders. Then the Butter Kulcha served was semi uncooked. We were soo exhausted by the end of the meal that we didn't even wish to point out any more mistakes that were made. Mistakes are a part of human nature, but the behaviour towards such mistakes is what put us off.. not once was there any appoligies made for the error at their end, but while we raised our concerns, the manager Pinto, rudely asked us to not make a scene. The reason I am giving the two stars are for the efforts made by the cook for some and I emphasize on SOME, of the food was decent. Needless to say, will never visit this place again neither will recommend it to anyone. Being a only pure veg restuarant around, the staff does take advantage and portray...

Please avoid this place... Below average in all senses. The manager of this place is super rude and has no manners. Even the owner is rude and arrogant. Saw them fighting with a group of women guest. Can't imagine such behavior !!! They use to be better before...

Quality of Food: 3 / 10 Food is average and nothing really great. Basic veg food and no presentation. For good food U can instead visit Sudarshan, Vihara Andheri East.. Same price n better food @ Shivsagar Juhu or Radhakrishna Andheri West.

Charges: 1 / 10 They charge illegal service charge 4 or 5 % in addition to gst, for they poor quality of service... It's just a type of fraud.

Ambiance 3 / 10 Average, nothing like a Restobar... Normal restaurant. There are better places around.

Service : - 1 / 10. Read some reviews. It has gone down in last few months. If they can fight with a large customer groups then I don't know what customers they value !!

For Corporate Team: 4/10 They have space to accommodate large groups. But don't expect them to provide any special attention, suggestions or quick service. The time taken to serve in lunch n dinner hours is very long.

Since its opening at Sakinaka I have been here dozens of time along with my business friends, close friends, families and relatives. Its pricings are on higher sides compared many veg restaurants around but actually there is no competition as CT is a definatly a premium veg resturant and u won't found discounts here like others do online or offline. Only one around may be Delhi highway but there is major different in Taste and Service not to mention the prices are even higher. I mean if some one gives me 2000 bucks and asks to go any one place out of the two and adding Delhi highway is further offering 60% discount then also I would go to curry twist to ensure my precious time and mood is fulfilled. Shahjhani Veg Biryani is a stand out always. I always have this one when ever I have been here. Veg Eclair and Veg Five Treasure Soup are few good mentions Thai and orientals are at its authentic best and I have always felt I got my value for the money spend. One advice if this reached to the returants management. Pls if you could add a 3 or 4 course full meal offerings at a set price out of your Menu... this would add a great value.
