Dashrath Sandwiches — Restaurant in Mumbai

I love their garlic green chutney. Probably I eat his Sandwiches only for the chutney. Earlier the masala toast masala used to be really good. It's changed now and I no longer enjoy his Bombay masala toast. The sada sandwich is decent.

However the main guy has too much attitude and I dislike these people who become arrogant after becoming popular.

So now I rarely eat his Sandwiches. Only when I crave...

First time I was introduced to Dashrath sandwiches was in 2006-07 when I was preparing for MBA at T.I.M.E classes which was in the same building as Dashrath sandwiches. Since then I have been enjoying them. I love his green chutney. He also makes them the way you want it. I usually prefer mine without potato and cheese. Great place to have sandwiches...

It's a street food but of course at the cost of hygiene. I had to keep at it to make him change the cloth he had been using to clean his butter knife! And only persistence helped. He claims that health officer comes there for weekly inspection; but guess...
